Next week is the 4th

My Plans are...

Friday: Blow some sh*t up! :bounce: :D
Saturday: Go to Kansas Speedway and watch the Craftsman Truck Series Race. And stay the night in KC.
Sunday: Go to the IRL race at Kansas Speedway.
 
Well, ward22, I certainly hope you enjoy yourself while in Kansas City. But, when it comes to blowing sh*t up as you put it, please make sure that it is only fireworks that go boom! Stay safe while playing with them! You will certainly have to let us know how your trip went. Pics if you can! ;)

I will try to get some type of pictures... I am not like Osama Bin Laden, or Sadam Hussein, I am just simply going to blow up some firecrackers. :)

I was referring to you, silly! I had a friend, when I was younger, blow his finger off with an M-80!

I am going camping with about 10-15 of our friends! I will probably be gone from sometime Thursday until Sunday evening. Boat is almost ready for the water (overhauling the motor - it's an inboard) and stocking up on the adult beverages! Will have plenty of food, too!
 
My aunt has a huge party with abotu 100 people each year, So we will spend just about all day at her house. Big bon fire, carry-in, Vollyball, horseshoes, ping pong, ATV riding, and of course Fireworks!
Saturday leaving on vacation to Ohio for about a week!

What are you going to do in Ohio?
 
Visit my Grandpa! He lives in Canton! He will be retireing in August as cheif of the Canton Fire Department ( I forget his offical postion but I know it s a very high up spot)
WHo knows what we will do! If we would have been able to leave early on the 5th we woudl possibly try to go to the Cleavland CART race but we are leavign here sometime durign the evening. Last year we went to Ceder point, went to alot of diffrent places around there and in Cleavland, I think the Rock And Roll hall of fame might be next but not sure!
One place we go to everytime sometimes twice is Sparta. A VEry good restraunt which steaks are the speicalty. I am nto a steak person( more of a Chicken) but that is one place I get Steak at its soo good.
 
Hey PB I am in Ohio! Your Aunt's party sounds a lot like what will be going on at my place. I have a pretty big party/hogroast every year on the 4th about 200-300 people. We have all the usual, v-ball, horseshoes, swimming, drinking. :cheers: I have 2 kegs plus all the mixes you can think of. DJ til 9 than a band. Everybody pitches in and we buy a ton of fireworks, I have some friends that are volunteer firefighters and they set them off. I have 9 acres so people just camp here or crash in the house. This year I got smart, I am having port-a-pots brought in!
Any of ya over this way are welcome to come, it's always a great time! Bring the kids, I have 4 teenage girls that watch them in the house after the fireworks!

We are heading down to Atlantic Beach, NC on the 3rd....
we'll be down there through the 12th....

Sure hope the weather cooperates !!!
 
I am off all week. Spok4 and I had plans to go to North Carolina this week. But the pant I work for is in contract talks with the Union and didn't reach a agreement. So I cant afford to spend any money. :dual9mm:

Well that sucks Gollum. I hope you can still find something fun and inexpensive to do at home.
 
I'm going to drink plenty of soda, get as little sleep as possible, race online and of course post on racing-forums.com ! :D
