KC is terrible on both sides of the ball. The defense is especially bad.

Defense is still poor. Offense is finally suffering from the lack of a real running game. Teams have figured out how to keep Mahomes in check often enough, and he has had fewer weapons to use the last few weeks.

Mahomes will be back, but the defense is terminal and can be chewed up by any team with a decent ground game.
