I'm still partial to college OT, even after they worsened it after last year's A&M/LSU game. I'd move it back though considering how much more proficient pro kickers are. Something like starting at your own 40 instead of the opposing 25.
It's like watching a monkey play with a hand grenade it's awful but you can't look awayAllen is somehow, some way, making the plays when he has to. Wow.
That’s my problem with it. A 28-28 game can become a 70-68 game. The NCAA system feels borderline goofy to me and not representative of the actual sport, more like a hockey shootout, etc. But I think a playoffs OT is important enough to play a defined period. Make it a straight 7- or 10- minute period.
I'm in favor of playing out a full period. Not a fan of sudden death if you do this, if you do that the other team gets one chance, etc. I think the college format could probably start further back as well but at the least each team gets an opportunity from the same field position. The NCAA system feels borderline goofy to me and not representative of the actual sport, more like a hockey shootout, etc. But I think a playoffs OT is important enough to play a defined period. Make it a straight 7- or 10- minute period.
I wonder if they’ll show the Patriots-Titans final score at NRG stadium before this game is over?
Looks like Deshaun Watson just saved us from that. Will they start the rest of the divisional round games next week while waiting for this one?
Absolutely.Deshaun Watson. Magician.
