NFL 2025-26

Great draft from James Gladstone and Liam Coen.

One thing is clear: They don't want opposing defenses laying a finger on Trevor Lawrence.

Titans and Colts had a great drafts as well. The AFC South might be fun this year.

I mean except one had an elite arm and vision and was always viewed as an NFL star even in college and the other is viewed as a developmental prospect.

True, but Brady wasn't viewed as a star either 🏈

Not saying he'll be a Brady, but I'm a Buckeye fan, so I'm rooting for him. He's got a solid arm, and looked great most of the year. Minus the Michigan game, but the whole team looked like crap that day...

Commanders have just announced a new 65,000 seat glass domed stadium to be built at old RFK site in DC. Hooray. The Washington Commanders will really be in Washington and not in VA or MD....and in a stadium befitting your nation's capital. And the team is not looking to the city to pay for it as most other NFL teams are doing these days. The team will pay $2.7 billion of the $3.6 billion cost with the city to pay $900,000. Planned for opening for 2030 season.

It is not a completely done deal yet. There is still some politicking to do but hopefully that can be overcome. If you look at the artist rendering, you can see the Capitol building in the background of one section of the stadium. The site will also have housing, retail, restaurants, etc. which is how the city would finance their portion.

>>"We are thrilled to welcome the Commanders back home to the Sports Capital. We said that we could do it all – Commanders, housing, park space, recreation, retail, entertainment and more – and, together, that's what we are delivering," said Mayor Bowser. "When we got control of 180 acres of land on the banks of the Anacostia, we knew right away that partnering with the Commanders would be the fastest and surest route to bringing the RFK campus to life. As we focus on the growth of our economy, we're not only bringing our team home, but we're also bringing new jobs and new revenue to our city and to Ward 7..."<<

The Jags old GM was poison. The new regime will let us finally see what Lawrence is capable of.
