NFL 2025-26

Same ****, new pile with the Giants. The only game they’ll probably be favored in the rest of the year is @ New Orleans. Otherwise, the schedule is particularly brutal from next week on through November. Three weeks in and no hope to be had. May as well hand the reins to Jameis at this point.
Daniel Jones left the Giants and became Josh Allen 2.0.

There are a lot of things I like about the Jaguars right now. My earlier tirade aside.

This young regime is great. I’m not sure Trevor Lawrence is the future of the franchise but the dropped passes are just ridiculous.

BTJ redeemed himself with that huge catch that set up the Etienne TD.

This team just can’t ever make shiit easy.

New management is trying to change the losing culture of the franchise. That's going to be a process. Not saying they will succeed but it will take time.

I think I look more forward to the Instagram posts from NFL Memes than I do the games themselves. 🤣

Howard Cosell (Hi-ward proper) was my favorite ever back in the day with doing the Sunday highlights during the Monday Night halftime. I guess as a kid his voice just resonated the drama that was bigger than life in those days.

I heard Chris Berman doing them tonight. I really enjoyed him doing them on the Sunday night ESPN post game show in the early 2000s ( I probably got the program name wrong, I just remember the way Berman called them and the fun nicknames he used).

It is fun watching some play action razzle dazzle, reverses, halfback passes etc.

I think it has the same benefit of throwing some long passes. Even if they dont work, at least run enough of them to stretch out the defense in order to make the more conventional plays work. Watching a good running back wearing out a defense is my first love when it comes to the offense, but you still have to stretch them out to make it work (in most cases).

A few years ago, Detroit would be down by double digits at this point in the game. Regardless of how this one ends, I can’t really be disappointed.

That was a great run by Montgomery and a great sutle change of direction at the end to get maybe 10 extra yards.

Great hustle by the speedy defensive backs to.run him down as well. It almost paid off with preventing them from scoring until the 4th down TD play.

Another crucial Henry fumble. Yikes.
I am rooting for Detroit but I respect Henry and Jackson. I really hope Henry gets it together runs a gazillion more yards. I would hate to see a great body of work tainted with a fumbling reputation.

That 4th down conversion was a backbreaker and gutsy play call.
