NFL 2025-26

As bad as Houston is playing they are still in the game. The Patroits are not looking Super Bowl bound.

Not sure if Houston punted because they’re waving the white flag, don’t understand the situation, or trust the defense to generate points better than the offense.

Houston has surrendered, punting with 4 minutes to go with only one time out remaining, and needing two TDs.

If you don't have enough trust in your QB to let him throw down field (at least 20 yards)then bench him.

The league rules are already skewed for the long ball game. You are doomed already if you don't even try.

Huge clutch play by Williams and Moore on 4th down. I agree with going for it when that close to the endzone, but they were living dangerously there. Great throw.

It will be a crime against humanity if the Bears abandon this kind of home field advantage and build another sterile dome. The NFL is misjudging if they think the audience wants every game to be played in weather controlled environments.

It’s cities trying to get a Super Bowl and other big events.

The more cities build domes the harder it’s going to be to crack into the Super Bowl/Final Four/CFP NCG rotations.

A lot of the time they keep that stuff in the South where the weather is more pleasant this time of year anyways. The Superdome is a ****hole, Ray J is nothing special, Hard Rock has been renovated but still isn’t anything crazy, but New Orleans/Tampa/Miami keep getting major events with regularity.

It’s not just sporting events, but concerts as well. Even the NFL Draft. And we’re seeing regular season College Football games moving to larger, neutral-site venues as well.

Besides a few traditional rivalry games that have always been played at neutral venues there are fewer neutral site regular season games than there had been when they got out of control in the 2010s, maybe a small handful each year. I think what’s new is another international game or two each year.

But we’re also talking about bigtime concerts and other events even still.

I prefer outdoor stadiums too. But there is a reality if you’re building a massive 60,000+ seat stadium. You need to be using it for more than nine weeks a year.
