NFL 2025-26

Great drive by the Rams against that defense in that stadium. They were patient early and took the field goals, and now have a lead. This is going to be a good one.

Woolen is an idiot tuat trashed a good defensive stop by his team and then he got burned on the following play. His team should be be frustrated and angry with him.

I don't understand the allergy to field goals. Make it a one point game and turn up the pressure. Worst case scenario you give up another TD and are still within one score. I don't get it.

It's so bad.

Analytics man. Analytics.

Plus, to be fair, Field Goals aren't as automatic as they used to be. The NFL is doing everything they can to eliminate Field Goals and Extra Points. I'm shocked they haven't outlawed them yet.

It isn't automatic, but that one was in the 95% range. The problem is football is situational and shouldn't be about 95% chance of three points vs. 50% chance of six. I would argue the Rams plainly didn't have an even chance of converting that against that defense anyway. But the embrace of "aggression" is out of hand.

McVay was correct in that the Rams aren’t going to get the ball again. Maybe Seattle play with a little more pucker if they’re only only up 1 rather than 4, but they scored on most of their possessions and it’s fair to think his defense wouldn’t be able to get the ball back.
