I’m sorry I know for some this is a huge day because it’s food, friends, party, the game, half time show and a slice of Americana. I’m a Dallas Cowboys fan, it’s been 30 years since they’ve played in this game. I don’t get the excitement over this day if your team isn’t playing. The game itself is a chore to get through and everything is just….oversized about today. I don’t really watch it or participate. I usually watch a movie or an old Daytona 500 which is what I’ll do today most likely. Apologies, I had to vent. It’s been since I was in 5th grade the Cowboys have won a Super Bowl, very frustrating.

Maybe that’s why so many people make bets on the Super Bowl. It makes it important to them even when their team isn’t playing.

I will watch even though my interest in the game is very low.
