If @gnomesayin wants to take over I’ll gladly give up the reins, just wanted to get this open so everyone would have as much time as possible to get picks in before tonight.

Format will stay as close as possible to last year. For those unfamiliar, each week I will post a listing of that week’s games, and you simply pick who you think will win each game. To do this, copy and paste the listing into a post and bold the winner or delete the team you think will lose.

For example: New England at NY Jets

New England at NY Jets
or
New England

At the bottom of the games each week I will post a tie-breaker question. In the event two or more players pick the same number of games correctly, whoever is closest to the tiebreaker gets that week’s win. If multiple players tie on games and the tie-breaker, the earliest submittal wins. Anyone who gets the tie-breaker exactly correct will get a bonus point for that week. During the playoffs, additional bonus questions will be available each week.

If anyone has any questions or issues with the format, please let me know.

Just FYI to @REBS31 and all who may not have seen his post last week, @gnomesayin said in a dirt track thread that he was going to be off the forum for a while. He indicated in a PM that it may not be a permanent departure.

I'm wishing all the best for him and his fam... his posts stand at the top of the heap in terms of offering thoughtful insight, in my opinion...
I will be taking a break from posting to focus on other things. Keep on fighting the good fight all.

I had missed his post, thanks for letting me know. I’ll miss his presence on the board, definitely one of the most insightful posters.

Tagging last year’s players to make sure everyone sees the thread if they’re interested

Shaky start for most of us in Week 1 as you might expect, with the exception of @West who correctly picked 10 games, and was the only one with a winning record on the week. No one got the tie-breaker/bonus(Kansas City-44) with @2 Sweet coming closest with the correct point total with the wrong team.

Overall a better week for picks, with nearly everyone improving on their scores from last week. We have our first tie on the season between @2 Sweet and @FLRacingFan , with 2 Sweet getting the win based off earlier submittal of picks. No one got the tiebreaker/bonus, with @West coming the closest by picking the correct team and only 4 points off.
West also maintains his lead in the overall standings with back to back solid weeks.
