NFL Playoffs

Yeh well was looking for the big money by taking the upsets, figure I already did decent in the regular season with my $$ picks, so take a few chances in the playoffs for the big hit. Didn't pan out, win some lose some.;)

I'm seeing a Steeler/Packer Super Bowl.
So is Tomlin....:D

I wonder who those bandwagon Patriot fans will cheer for now?
Probably be the Packers. The last time the Bears and Pats were in the Super Bowl, the Bears whooped em. Of course that was a team many have considered one of the best ever in the NFL.

Patriots got their butts handed to them yesterday, got out played, out coached, and out trash talked! 0-4 this weekend, lost a few $$, but all is good still got next week and the Bowl. I'd say the Packers and the Jets in the Bowl, I dislike both teams quite a bit so I really don't care who wins. If I had to pick a winner I'd go with the Pack at this point in time.

Look dude.....we already know your track record...Thanks for making the packers lose to the Bears:(

The answers:

a) Like a drum

b) Like a rented mule

c) Like a red headed step child

The question:

How bad did the Jets beat the Pats?

:D:D:D

Welker had emergency surgery following the game to have his foot removed from his mouth,,,

Following the a game a despondent man dressed in fishnet stockings, wearing red pumps, a leather mini skirt along with a blonde wig and full makeup was found wandering in the parking lot.

Police refuse to identify him figuring after the Pats loss he and his family have suffered enough.:):growl:

I love this sports guy on the radio!

Ravens over Steelers
Pats over Jets (although I really hope not!)
Falcons over Packers &
Seahawks over Bears

I see Jay Cutler self destructing. The Falcons are not getting much respect, but they are a very good team that is built for playoff football. They run the ball very well, control the line of scrimmage and are almost unbeatable at home. I hate the Patriots, but they look really, really good.

Man, I'm damn near astounding in my prognostications. Nostradumbass strikes again. :beerbang:

Seriously though, it was a rough weekend for me until the Jets beat the damn Patriots. That made up for the whole weekend's disappointments. :D

I can't say why I like the Jets, I just do. I like the way they play. They are very physical and they are the hated Patriots' closest rivalry right now. It's kind of how the Yankees made me a Red Sox fan.

I'd have to say Steelers Vs. Green Bay with Green Bay winning the Super Bowl.

I love it. Nobody is giving Chicago a chance. Even when they were to play Seattle, many people thought the Seahawks might beat the Bears. It's always great to be the underdog, especially when playing at home.

I just bet a lady at the YMCA that if the Bears win the SB I'll run 5 laps around the building. If the Steelers win she has to wear 1 of my Steeler hats for a day.She doesn't know it yet but I have a nice light up model that she will be wearing.

ARLINGTON — Some people still have a chance to make it to Super Bowl XLV at Cowboys Stadium.

The Cowboys said Tuesday they will sell tickets to an outdoor plaza for $200. Fans will have to watch the big game on video screens and won't be able to go inside the stadium.

The offer is open only to current Cowboys Club Seat holders, who must buy a "plaza party package" of four tickets to get in.

The package includes a parking pass along with four commemorative programs and four commemorative scarves.

Food is available for purchase.

Wow, what a deal!

You get to watch the game on a big screen with three of your friends for $800.00. You get four commemorative programs and four commemorative scarves. All of that and you still get to pay for your food! Boy, sign me up!

I really don't know how this weekend will play out. My gut tells me the Steelers and Packers will win. I would prefer that those two both lose, so naturally I expect it to go the other way. Over the years I've come to see the glass as half full of urine, especially where sports are concerned.

I'LL be reserving my plane ticket today......not!!!

I heard Bill Leavy will be coming out of retirement for the Steelers game this weekend...

Man this first game sucks, I wonder if Cutler is out because he is really hurt or if it is because he sucked in the first half!

How's that working out for you TODAY.:D

As I said, this is how I figured it would go. I will probably watch the SB even though I don't really care much for either team. I will certainly be rooting for the Packers as I can't stand the Steelers and it would be nice to see Favre's replacement win a Super Bowl.

It's no secret that Chicago is not afraid to use all 3 QB's. 1st string QB means nothing to the bears
