NFL Playoffs

Glad Dallas won. A big relief but the no call was bad.

Call me a sore loser, but I'd like to see Dallas get destroyed next year by Green Bay! :D

Rodgers will have a field day with that Dallas defense.
Not necessarily...it is going to be very cold next weekend and I do not envision either quarterback having a good game. This game will be decided by whichever team has the most rushing yards and I believe Murray will perform better than Lacy.

Rodgers should be used to the cold by now. More so than Romo and the cowboys.

I'm sure he is, but also remember that Romo is a Wisconsin native. As far as I'm concerned, Rodgers and Romo are on equal ground concerning ability to perform in the cold weather. Even if they are used to it, throwing a ball in cold weather is incredibly difficult, not to mention catching it. Outdoor playoff games for northern teams almost always come down to rushing efficiency.

The no call hurt us, but the game is still in our hands. If we lose, we can't completely blame it on that no call.
Blame it on the non-call for the hold after the non-call for the pass interference.

Professionalism is severely lacking in the sports media these days. Yes, Detroit was horrible in the second half. But, according to the sports media, it's a 100% certain fact that Detroit wasn't going to score if the Pass Interference call stood and it's a 100% certain fact Dallas would have won (even though a Detroit touchdown would have likely put it out of reach).

It's funny, because once the first half ended, they were saying how great Detroit is playing, but completely lose faith towards the end of the game when Detroit isn't playing as well. Pretty sure if they scored two touchdowns in the first quarter, they would have been completely capable of scoring another had that flag not been picked up.

On another note, according to interviews...the Dallas players think it was a good no-call. Go figure! ;)

That's not considering that they would have been in the red zone if they had penalized Dez Bryant for running on to the field and shouting at a referee. That's an automatic 15 yard penalty.

Nothing's certain in football.

So many calls were made for both teams. Missing the roughing the punter and that BS offensive pass interference on Dallas? A lot of calls made and missed right and left.

Also, Dez should have been hit with a penalty for walking on the field with no helmet.

I'm usually not one to blame the refs for the outcomes of games as that is too often used as a copout, but today it was so blatant, the refs have to be called out. The DPI that was then wasn't, that was probably the worst call since the replacement refs in that Seattle-Green Bay game a couple years ago. Somethin' ain't right.

Watching it again this morning, I see why the refs picked up the flag. Think about this and other than the tugging of the Jersey maybe six yards down the field. Honestly, other than that if Stafford threw the ball better, I would think the refs would have kept the flag on. Hitchens didn't really touch Pettigrew while the ball was in the air. Did the left arm of Hitchens really impede Pettigrew? No, it didn't and because of it being the playoffs there is a bit more rope on flags.

Also, the Lions still had a chance. The game was not over with plenty of times to drive down the field.

It's mainly because of it being the Cowboys. The refs didn't cause the offense become stagnant in the second half and that Dallas defense that was supposed to be horrendous shut Megatron down. It was a lot game left and if it wasn't in favor of Dallas people would be like "Shut up dumbass Cowboys fans because you choked again." Etc...

It was a great game and one flag does not really mean a win or loss, it depends on how the team recovers from the adversity. I mean Detroit wasn't down 14 points at one time.

It was still defensive holding. And Dez Bryant still should have been penalized. And the penalties against Detroit that kept Dallas' game winning drive alive should have either not been called or offset by offensive holding.

It was funny seeing Suh sack Romo even after being held.

Green Bay 8 - 0 at home & Dallas 8 -0 on the road. hope all the penalty fallout from last week doesn't carry over to this week, and the field is not a mess, regardless Cowboys win..
