NFL Week 3

Finally watched Rams/Redskins. There were some bad or questionable calls(generally no more than any other football game however), but the only horrible call was that first quarter "late hit" call against the Rams defense when Griffin was very clearly still inbounds.

Did you see Monday's game with Denver and Atlanta? The officiating was horrible, by far the worst I've seen. And the game was almost 4 hours long:eek:

It's the non-calls in that game that were bad.

Someone's going to get seriously hurt if these deliberate late hits and the other shenanigans going on are allowed to continue.

Torrey Smith (BAL) showing A LOT of heart today. His younger brother killed early this morning in NoVA. Smith chooses to play and he finds the endzone.

Ravens fans did a good job representing Maryland with that "Bull****" chant.

Don't be so hard on your hometown fans. I'd be willing to bet that chant has been heard in every NFL stadium (or NBA, MLB, NHL, etc. arena, for that matter. Dare I say, NASCAR racetrack?). It's just that the whole thing happened on NBC in primetime in front of a huge tv audience. And, now it's on Youtube.
I had to dvr the game tonight and still have to watch it so I don't know why the fans were upset. But I honestly have to admit if the wrong call was made by these replacement refs and I was a Raven fan, I'd probably join them. And this is coming from a toe-stubbing, swearing guy.

(And thanks for not revealing the final score.)

Go Cards. Not thumping my chest - yet.
Still way too early in the season.

Toss up whats worse, the refs or Michael Vick

yeah lol but I like that team

Well then your probabaly gonna go with Vick lol. You think of the great teams the Eagles have had over the years and nothing to show for it. Couple years ago I would've said you can't blame the coach, now IDK. Vick has got to get it together though too.

Don't get me wrong, I was laughing my ass off. Al Michaels "that's the loudest manure chant I've ever heard" was great.

So Shaub(sp?) Gets half his ear ripped off.If the story is true that he was wearing a earring then he deserved it.

It's true. The missing chunk looks to high to be from an earring though....

WOW!!! The Packers got screwed. NFL needs to pay the refs and be done. This should never happen. Awful. Packers intercepted a hail mary and they called it a Seattle touchdown.
