NNS At Indy

as far as the regulars go, Smith shot himself in the foot, the other three players are in pretty good shape.

Well if is pays for it like Pastrana does then he could be. Pastrana isn't wasting anyone's time or money but his own. Oh and the companies that back him. :)
Did you see TP's hat? He ain't wearing it because he likes the taste of Red Bull. Plus their paint scheme is promoting X Games LA, and that doesn't happen for free either.

I am as big of a Hornish homer as they come, but when Hornish took the points lead last week I had big grin on my face. Why? Because the next few tracks that NNS goes to Hornish is strong at. Hornish has had great success at Indy and Iowa, plus with two road courses after that he "should" be strong. However, anything can happen. *knock on wood.

Noticed I said:

I guess my point is that Pastrana isn't there because Roush thinks he is the latest and greatest. Pastrana and the companies that back him (red bull) are footing the bill for him to be in that ride. That why I said that if Swindell wants to be in the 60 all he has to do is pay for it.

Sorry Jeffrey, I guess I didn't notice that part. People buying rides is a sad reality in all forms of racing.

I like Sammy myself, and was really thrilled the year Kinser qualified for the 500.

Teaching us about football field length and basketball hoop height on the NNS prerace. Oh jeeeeeez

That wasn't my point. I believe that Swindell would be much better with a better car and team, just used a driver that is in good stuff but he can't drive it. I have watched Swindell beat over three hundred midgets on dirt twice. He is a smart driver besides fast. Driving Nascars, he is doing the same thing, driving smart, but he hasn't had a good piece, and he gets slower as the race wears on.

Swindell is highly underrated imo. I think he could kick ass with a good team. I mean he's racing for a strtup and getting top 15s.

Biagi-Denbeste Racing?, can't say I have ever heard of Swindell's team before, but anyway, I am going to watch him on the leaderboard, this is one of his best starting positions. KB overall and top cup driver, and #3 Dillon or Smith for the top N'wide I'm going with. weeeeHaw lets get it on.

Brand spankin new team.

I'm going to miss all but a few early laps of this one  and think that Vickers will be hungry as ever but hoping for either Dillon or Larson to win

What a classy rendition. Nice.

I wonder if the Sadler/Smith spat will continue to play out at Indy?

Bayne starting near the front...here's hoping that he doesn't take out half the field on the 1st or 2nd lap

I just hope a Nationwide regular wins. It would seem especially cheap if a Cup driver gets to kiss the bricks because they won this race.

might as well get out the blankie and the binkies to suck on, I don't see a N'wider winning this race. Not with Kyle on the front row.

I don't think it will. this track is all about who has the biggest kahoonas and can hold it down in the corners. I don't think either one will do that well. N'wide..Dillon, Hornish IMO. Hornish is fearless

Let's just hope his lack of fear don't collide with a lack of something else... I'm not saying the guy can't drive but he has been known to get in over his head ;)

The chance of a NW regular winning is like the chance of Joe Nemecheck getting a pole.

Its pretty sad when you give a driver a dead car to "start" a race.

That's very unproffesional. I feel bad for Algair.

Lookin like another Kyle Busch show. I'll do a little inner eyelid inspection, keeping an ear open, and see how it pans out later.

I apologize for adding to the cup drivers in NWS dead horse but it's too bad that Gibbs doesn't keep young drivers in that good JGR equipment more often instead of the cup guys.

Well, someone's finally ready so I'm out...enjoy the race.
