Brad celebrating like he won the championship. lol

This is the equivalent of beating on the special olympics.

Dang top 5 is tight, and another road race next week, Dillon will be having nightmares all week.:)

Austin trying to make the hat stick. I dont think its working. Haha

I'm sure when Sadler looks at Regan ahead of him in points, he remembers the 25 Regan cost him a couple of weeks ago.

Yeah, which is worse? ESPN or TNT?

Commercials don't bother me too much because they are just part of the deal. But when they focus in on one car running alone while there are cars 2 and 3 wide battling I get pretty irritated. I understand that certain cars will be focused upon but damn...

They should do one of those package deal like they do with the NFL, NBA, MLB. I'd pay 150 bucks to see these races commercial free.

Me also if they ditched the Waltrips and Brad Daugherty otherwise I couldn't stand a nonstop dose of them.

I used to pay for In-Car when I had cable then Hotpass when DirecTV offered it. I loved it.

Those packages all show the commercials. The advantage to each of the packages is that you get to see all the games for that particular sport. We already get to see all the races but a single channel would be nice. I don't see how NASCAR could ever give us a commercial free races for a price comparable to the others that you mentioned.

It would be nice to have a Nascar network. Coverage of every practice/qualfying/race and old races during the week.

I sure agree with that. With the exception of the old races though, we pretty much have that now.

The ideal situation would be exactly what you said with commercial free broadcasting of the race. Obviously I don't know what the costs associated with that would be but I think that it would probably exclude many fans from being able to purchase it. It would take a whole lot of subscribers to that channel to make up for the lost revenue.

Flashback to the 80's and very early 90's. I had a BUD, (Big Ugly Dish). One of those 10' black mesh monstrosities sitting out in my front yard. I got everything that was being bounced off of the many satellites up there at the time. The best thing about it was that you were able to pick up the feed directly from the track. The feed that was being bounced back to the network's station prior to the insertion of commercials. That was a great way to watch the race. The audio went silent but the video kept on going. It was the same for all other sports as well but it suited NASCAR the best.

Still digging!

I had the same thing . Sometimes the sound was still on and you could hear the announcers real opinions during commercials . Benny Parsons was really funny . Good times .

There does appear to be an absence of anti cup driver sentiment in the NWS thread. I'm starting to think that maybe it's just KyBu who isn't welcome in the lower ranks ;)

They sure do dpk.

In the NBA they often use the arena camera during official timeouts (That's when the network cut to commercials) so give you a wider view. You can often see the teams gather round and even the cheerleaders dancing about the arena.

NASCAR could have a dedicated channel that shows all 3 series to make it worth it.

You can always show them making laps, no need for a constant play-by-play call.
