Me also if they ditched the Waltrips and Brad Daugherty otherwise I couldn't stand a nonstop dose of them. They should do one of those package deal like they do with the NFL, NBA, MLB. I'd pay 150 bucks to see these races commercial free.

Those packages all show the commercials. The advantage to each of the packages is that you get to see all the games for that particular sport. We already get to see all the races but a single channel would be nice. I don't see how NASCAR could ever give us a commercial free races for a price comparable to the others that you mentioned. They should do one of those package deal like they do with the NFL, NBA, MLB. I sure agree with that. With the exception of the old races though, we pretty much have that now.It would be nice to have a Nascar network. Coverage of every practice/qualfying/race and old races during the week.

The ideal situation would be exactly what you said with commercial free broadcasting of the race. Obviously I don't know what the costs associated with that would be but I think that it would probably exclude many fans from being able to purchase it. It would take a whole lot of subscribers to that channel to make up for the lost revenue.
Flashback to the 80's and very early 90's. I had a BUD, (Big Ugly Dish). One of those 10' black mesh monstrosities sitting out in my front yard. I got everything that was being bounced off of the many satellites up there at the time. The best thing about it was that you were able to pick up the feed directly from the track. The feed that was being bounced back to the network's station prior to the insertion of commercials. That was a great way to watch the race. The audio went silent but the video kept on going. It was the same for all other sports as well but it suited NASCAR the best.
