I sure hope a Cup driver doesn't win as usual.

The person performing the National Anthem is dreadful.

I'll be watching this until the IndyCar race starts at 9. Go MWR's Trevor Bayne! nice starting spot :)

It's funny MWR's picking up all the drivers who got the direct screw job from Teresa. :lol2:

So many good drivers in the race, Stephen Leicht, Justin Allgaier, Trevor Bayne, Sean Caisse, Brad Coleman, Michael Annett, Ricky Stenhouse, Scott Lagasse.

Did the idiot announcer just ask, "What's the difference between this and a Sprint Cup race?"

If in need of a wreck, you can always count on John Wes Townley! :)

Morgan Shepard's moved up 20 positions since the start of the race

NASCAR should've thrown the caution. They knew people were pitting and Caisse would be in their way.

NASCAR just screwed Justin Allgaier over.

"He's adding some tape to the car, our experts will explain what that does when we come back"

Do they think everyone watching their broadcasts are stupid?:rolleyes:

Andy, If you switch to the Indy race I'll talk to you. I can't watch the Kyle Busch show, yet again-- and I'm not a Kyle hater. He is obviously a very talented driver, but I've always found it boring to watch the same driver lead virtually every lap (as do most people). Tell me when there's about 15 to go and I'll switch back to watch the end ;)

I've actually got the IRL race on now.

I am very impressed with Versus so far. :)

Marc Davis and Brendan Gaughan had a collision on pit road. Brendan is pissed:

"Do not let the kid leave the track 'til he sees me!"

Incident wasn't anybody's fault -- just a racing deal.

Congrats to Kyle Busch and crew! Love him or hate him the kid can race!!

Gibbs is 2 for 2 on the day, both his CUP drivers have won in the minor league races -- Shrub wins at Music City.
yawn.gif

Woo hoo, Kyle finally makes it to Victory Lane after leading the most laps.
And........................Pete Townshend would be proud of Kyle's guitar skills!!!

Looks like it's gonna be Kyle and Carl fighting for the championship.

When will NASCAR put a stop to this ****?

Hopefully NEVER!
Cup drivers shouldn't be running Nationwide and ARCA. Especially when they've got an equipment advantage.

They should've stopped it after Harvick won a few years ago, but they didn't and we've had two more Cup drivers win since.

Ignorant

Guess Kyle got to show off his talent as a driver and his stupidity as a person tonight. Way to take a high dollar trophy and look like a total fool tearing it up. I sure would have like to had that Gibson Gutiar. Maybe next time they will give him a worthless piece of crap for a trophy.

That was pretty ignorant I agree.

Why did he tear up the trophey?

Because he's a petulant child. Carl Edwards gave the guitar that he won to a disabled kid- a good illustration of someone with class versus someone that cares nothing about anything besides himself.

.....except maybe for the 100 grand check he handed over to Sam Ard....or am I mistaken?

Every driver has some kind of Foundation or Fund for PR purposes. It's how you handle yourself in public that matters.

Didn't you catch ESPN playing the radio broadcast where they caught Kyle saying to his crew that they would all get a piece of the guitar tonight?

with his money he could have bought them all duplicate guitars instead of busting that one up and just giving them splinters. He's an arse.

The burnout was about the only good thing about the race. I was appalled at what he did to that guitar. At first I couldn't believe it was the actual trophy. I mean who would do that?!!! Way to go at insulting Music City. The people who make those guitars put in so much heart and soul and he wants to play "rock star?" Someone needs to tell him just because he plays Rock Band doesn't make him a rock star. People all over the internet are furious. Now he's offered to buy 2 more from Sam Bass to replace them (one for his CC) and is giving excuses because of his age. Looks like he's changing his story about everyone getting a piece of it now that he knows he's infuriated so many people. That was a total insult to all of the people of Nashville and the hard-working people who made it, not to mention a heck of a lot of NASCAR fans. Time for Coach Gibbs to sit him down and give him a talking to or take him out to the woodshed. Believe me, there are far more people who think was he did was sacrilegious than cool.

He's just a punk.

I use to kind of like him. But that was when he was in the 99 truck and was under 18 and they would not let him race anymore and hms picked him up. But the last few years he's just been an punk ass.
