And all I said was that that should make sense........but it don't!
We both know both drivers and teams have an uphill climb to get in the chase. But Jr's hill is smaller.
As far as I remember that is first time Matt has had a dominate car in way over a year! Jr's dominated a race or two since Matt's last dominating performance........who's snippy? Isn't this thread's title "No chance for Jr"? Seems there is a chance after all.......and the way things stand at the moment, a better chance than Matt.
If you want to know the truth about this Jr fan, I'll tell you. I see Jr getting in the chase
with luck. Emphasis is on "with luck". But, like I said very early in this thread, Jr does have a chance until it becomes impossible to earn enough points to overcome the deficit he is facing. At this point in the season it's not impossible..........so anyone who says he's out is just plain wrong. Perhaps being wishful in their thinking?
And, I actually did read your post.........and reread it just a minute ago. I still got the same message "One good call in the pits won't get him in. ". But finishing high in the coming races and maybe winning one or two will. Luck plays into almost every race..........and in
every Championship run. Case in point: Matt Kenseth 2003. Jr needs a little less luck than Matt at the moment.
