NO SUSPENSION FOR THE #24

More details coming out on this phone conversation between Gordon and Logano after Phoenix!

From Jayski:

For those who missed it, Logano said on Twitter that he called Gordon after Phoenix and tried to get an apology and Gordon hung up on him.

I think Logano has a right to be pissed but the idea of calling up somebody and demanding an apology? Come on, now. "I'm really mad and you better say you're sorry!"
I was thinking the same thing when I read that Logano called Gordon, kind of demanding an apology.

Doesn't matter if Logano has poor phone/apology technique, Gordon took him out. And if anybody needs to adjust their schedule to make peace it should be the offender that enjoyed a lot of protection after his Phoenix BS.
For a guy that normally behaves like Nobel Peace prize candidate, he shouldn't expect special treatment. Nor should the context be re framed to suit the needs of the original problem.

I agree that Gordon is the antagonist in the whole situation, but it's still weird for Logano to be calling a day later asking for an apology. Did he think Gordon would bend over backwards to apologize a day later? And now both Logano and Gordon are yapping about this phone call (although Logano brought it up first), it's weird. It's almost like Logano is trying to inject himself into all the Phoenix drama which was mostly about Gordon and Bowyer. Now Logano is all bent out of shape because Jeff was his childhood hero and he hung up on him.

I bet his dad made him call.
