N'wide Feed The Children 300 Race Thread

Holy crap, I just saw Dillon was over 2 MPH faster than anyone else in qualifying.

Ya don't see Kyle get passed for the lead in a truck to often. Might be different tonite, they have loaded up the field with cuppers.

I think they are going to chew up Pastrami and spit him out, hope not for a big wreck if he don't go.

Bhahahah! "Kyle Busch started out the season winning six out of eight races, but...he hasn't won in the month of June. Uh, he's not been behind the wheel, but....he didn't win at Dover...." Wow, such great commentary o_O

Time to change the channel. Dirtbag is out front by 2 sec only 3 laps after passing dillon

It's like earlier they kept saying how Gordon hadn't won at Kentucky. They've had two races....

Question, if anyone cares to answer: why is pit road sometimes only open to lead lap cars?

When the yellow comes out the pits are closed, As soon as they feel it is safe they open pit road and lead lap cars are the only ones allowed to pit the first time around. After that the rest can pit.

The first lap it's open it's for lead lap cars, the second lap is for lap down cars or anybody else. On a a "quicky" yellow everybody can pit when it opens.

Thanks for that. I understand what is happening, I guess I'm confused as to why lead lap cars are the only ones permitted on pit road?

Is this what Kyle's about to see coming up behind him?

Most likley saftey reasons. Possibly since they aren't racing on the same lap, why screw up the lead lap cars.
In other words I have no friggen idea.
