N'wide @ Iowa Race Thread

Yeah 65 laps left and they telling these guys to slow down. Now we got us a race:rolleyes:

The dominant Cup regular is out front and the race is about to end... time to watch something else. Y'all enjoy the rest of the race without me.

Now there is a true racer and future champion in NW at least.

Larson doing wonders in crappy and untested equipment.

Austin fails yet again. lol leads the most and lays an egg at the end. Your next cup champion in full glory getting beat by the likes of Hornish. lol

Now, will Larson have time to get to Knoxville for the for the 360 sprint feature?

Hell of a run by Keselowski going through the field twice, but give these NW guys a break already.

Lol Keselowski celebrating with beer reminds me of Stone Cold in his wrestling days

It says a lot about how much the Nationwide Series has been crapped on when the TV partners update viewers on the Owners Championship throughout the race and don't even bother to show the Drivers Championship points even once. That was a good comeback by Brad but the end result was so predictable.

Owners points are important..ask Danica.o_O
Sam is probably going to shoot to the top the next couple of weeks.
oh the ringer people are going to have a field day. Probably be a bunch of cup drivers at the road courses. Going to be good though in a free for all kinda way.

Is even sadder how these broadcasters have to make up storylines to keep things interesting.

At some point they were hyping how Brad has never won a race after been penalized.

That's just sad.

Cuppers need to get the freak out of this series, seriously.

Exactly they talked more about the 54 and 22 and the owners championship then they did about the top 5 NNS guys and the awesome race they are having. They haven't even shown the drivers points at the end of the last two races.

In the cup side they barely show the points either.

I made a post about it last week. They wait for the very last second to show the points. ESPN is just trying to get by their remainding races. They simply just dont give a crap knowing that they will not come back next year.

I know at least a few are going to be in it...Logano, Kez, Kahne, probably a few others and some of the typical road ringers. Hornish is a lot better than the other NS contenders on road courses though so that will help him a lot. The only one that might be able to keep pace with him is Vickers.

Hornish probably will be hanging around the top 3

Yep, lots of good racing with championship implications, they didn't mention it at all though. Good race, and then they cut away from postrace coverage ten minutes early to show X Games. They already didn't care about this series and now that they're a lame duck broadcaster it's going to get worse.

They interviewed the winner and 2nd place driver, and Pastrana... The only reason they did that was to promote X-Games. The time they took to interview Pastrana they could have been talking about the NNS driver points.

It seemed like they had a skeleton crew in the booth, they were good though, and not much pit reporting. didn't miss it much, they did report Kez's car trying to melt down though. what always gets me is when they can't hardly wait to switch to a re run or some hogwash when the race is over.

And Pastrana does a melt down too.:)
