Which one would you want to have back? In my case I thought a bit but it's really a no brainer. Of all the muscle cars I'd like to have it's my '55 Pontiac Star Chief. My then almost wife and I took it on a road trip in Sept of '76 a month before we were married. Rt 1 and A1A to New Hampshire, drove the Kangamangus Highway, looking for Kangamanguses,,(btw she still hates me for that:).
Over to New York to visit a couple of winery's, bought a few bottles and back to the motel to get fersnickered, Wine hangovers hurt!
Never put the top up or went over 45 mph.

Mine was a deep blue and white. I'd love to find another and do that trip with her again.

There are several I've had I'd like to borrow for a weekend every now 'n then. One of the convertables for a sceneic ride. One of the trucks if I wanted to move something.

Have back as in "own," none of 'em.

My '98 Z28. T-tops, 6-speed, ran 12's in the 1/4, could make it ungodly loud with just the flip of a switch (e-cutout), got compliments everywhere I went, was a blast to drive. The first time I ever went 140 mph was in this car. So many great memories. I spent a good amount of time and money on modifying it. Got myself in debt, had to sell it. As a 25-year-old I was spending more money than I was earning.

I'd like to have the '93 Nissan Sentra back.

I'm not a car worshiper. My demands on a vehicle are pretty low and completely practical. The little sucker had gas mileage in the mid-30s, A/C that would freeze me out, and it was reliable as heck. I finally had to scrap it with 270K when it wasn't worth replacing the transmission.

I'd take the Demon back, that's what I called my 98 Jimmy because it had the most ridiculous mechanical problems. How many cars get a pebble wedged in the brakes. But it was my first car and I miss the storage space.

Are you kidding .. I want all of them back. I spend a little of every day scouring Kijiji and Craigslist looking for replacements.

'89 Dodge Colt

Without a doubt, my '66 Ram Air GTO. I bought it in late '67 from a neighbor who was drafted. Didn't know It at the time, but it was a 1/174 car. To date, none have been located/restored. Would be priceless today. The "XS" engines were cammed differently from the standard Tri-Powers. Also came with a cold air induction system, 4:33 gears, close ratio Muncie 4 speed, a transistor ignition and a set of free flowing exhaust manifolds in the truck. No power anything to suck up HP. Tired the same, it was a full second faster than any other GTO. Car was jinxed, however. The first owner lost it when he was drafted. I lost it the same way.

Tri-power with a rockcrusher Muncie and 4.33 gears.... cold air induction.....'' XS'' engine? you are totally correct...... that would be a VERY rare Goat......

04 Dodge Dakota

Drove the 78 F150 the longest 13 years
Was driving this in 1986
Reason I went with Ford and Davey Allison

As a kid, I bought a used 1965 Plymouth Satellite in the mid '70's for $500 that looked a whole lot like this one, yellow with a black vinyl top and with what I considered to be way-cool hub caps.

It had a 318 automatic with the shifter on the floor and black vinyl bucket seats but without any power accessories.

It ran like a champ for a few years until the water pump went out and, like a doofus, I sold it to a mechanic friend of mine for maybe a hundred bucks. I remember seeing it on the street a short time later and thinking, "Why the hell didn't I just get it fixed?" :owquitit:

For the car itself I would want my 84 BMW 733i

For what went down I'd want my 1969 VW Sundial Camper bus. Baja trips, surfing and old girlfriends.

Of my friends' old cars I would want my buddy's Olds 442. Or else my other friend's Charger. We got stopped by the rangers for doing 125mph in the Huntington State Beach parking lot.

My 1966 Dodge charger.
383 4 speed.
And or, my 59 Plymouth belvedere, 361, 305 HP. But not with that awful 3 speed on the tree.
And of course, updated with air conditioning.

This is easy. My folks bought me an '81 Turbo Trans Am back in '93 that had 23k on it. All original, beautiful car with all the options. My old man traded me the '85 Toyota 2wd and paid like $1,000 on a super duper guitar amp(Mesa Mark IV half stack, which I still have), and he sold that car in the late 90's for a huge profit. The car was bought for $6,800, sold for $9,500, and Barret Jackson had a comparable one on not long age that went for $50,000.

Nice, I had the 79 version with a 350 HO
This is a 79 with a 77 nose piece on it. Years ago I was trying to sell it and the motor (301 4 bbl.) blew up, so in goes the Chevy engine and a new look nose piece and I still own it. My kids wont let me sell it.

That '77 LeMans I had was good and strong. It had a Chevy 305 in it and ran like a top. I had to get rid of it after I hit a deer and messed up the headlight area. You couldn't find parts to fix it. I gave it away for $50. I should've put it in the local demolition derby. A 4,000+ pound car with a good strong motor would've been hell. I clobbered that deer too. He didn't stand a chance against that tank. SOB almost came through the windshield.

A 1974 Toyota Corolla Wagon. Only because of the Buick 252 C.I. V-6, and a Pontiac Sunbird 5 speed trans. My brother only got 600 dollars as a trade in for a Ford Ranger. I nearly killed him for being that dumb.

My first, '79 Camaro RS. I sold it in college because it needed work and I wanted a newer car.

I want my 01 Maxima back, if it hadnt gone up in flames, I would still have it( I think), my goal was to get 500k on the od, and I only had 200k left to go.

1987 chev blazer, midnight black with deep black out windows. gold wheels. not lifted

I can't decide between two. One was a 73 Buick Apollo(same body as a Nova). Gold. No actual pics but it looked just like the one in this picture. Had a 350 small block. That thing would run. Also had a 79 Z28 Camaro. Dark blue. It was the better looking car but didn't run as well.

I would want my 1995 Toyota Supra back. Sold it last year to pay some medical bills. Not my picture but this is what she looked like (with a little more wear & tear of course):

Nothing runs as smooth as an inline 6. I didn't have the turbo but that was fine by me. That engine was indestructible.

The word Nova had a meaning back in the day . The "N" was for Nova, "O" Olds Omega, "V" Pontiac Ventura, and 'A' Buick Apollo. Some of the Ventura's had the Trans Am shaker hood on them from the factory. These cars made some darn nice looking hot rods when dressed up with chrome wheels etc.

My first new car, 1982 Mercury Capri, 302/4speed. Sold to my nephew last year. Damn I miss that car. Had it 34 years. 75k or so on the odometer. NEVER saw a winter. That's me with it at the Metro Cruise in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
My kids take my car to the metro Cruise every year for the last 8 or so years. 1979 Pontiac Trans Am pictured above
