Official Daytona 500 Thread

As they just said, the race will end today whether it's called for rain or not being it's past that half way point and is an official race. Looking at the last weather map, they may run one more time. But for how long, that's the question.
 
Its going to be up to who goes in the pits during the last caution and who does on to weather who wins
 
Hey maybe Kyle will pull a top ten off and extend his race without a dnf streak to 36
 
if they get back, we all know they cant get the whole race in right. If they dont and it starts looking like rain, this will eqaul the big one. Everyone wants a good spot and will end up wrecking
 
WOW!! Jerry Nadeau did a great job. He ran up in the top 5-8 most of the race after the red flag!! I wonder why we fell back so far after the pit stop. I was disaapointed in FOX they did not say one thing about Jerry and he as even sponsored by the ARMy who was sponcorsing the race for FOX.
Jerry deserved some talk while he was up there in the top 5!!
Good job jerry!!
 
Overall, though, I was happy with the outcome of the race, despite the rain. :)
 
I was happy, Kyle got a good finish and extended his streak without a dnf to 36 races
