Caution at 40

:bazooka: Competition caution around lap 40...this is an "impound" race and everybody was set up for night-time conditions. Adjustments on the first pit stop will be crucial. :beerbang:

Royal/Jim Stewart 400 was postponed until Sunday because of heavy rain Saturday night at Richmond International Raceway.

The 400-lap event will start at 1:15 p.m. EDT.

The drivers took 12 laps - all under caution - before the rains came Saturday. Those laps will not count, and the race will start from the beginning Sunday. :bounce: The parking lots will open at 6:30 a.m., while the grandstands will open at 10 a.m.

This was the first postponed Nextel Cup race since Talladega in April 2006.

Hey Kellogs, looks like it didn't matter. Jeff Lead laps. :p

Harvick is cookin

Watch out for Harvick....

Another top 40 for Schrader?....nope.:beerbang:

Kevin's day is pretty much done now.

I wont say i'm happy but now its anybodys race to win.

Also to me David Ragan came into his pit stall way too fast.

Sorry no time to write... if only we could get a caution... or 12......

again....

again...

Kat, I was wondering the same thing. :)

I never heard anything about why #31 is out.

From what I heard the talking heads say is...........on Friday before the first practice, someone on the #31 team dropped something in the motor. Instead of changing motors they supposedly "fished" it out. Doesn't look like they got it all. What a shame! Someone is due a severe arse chewing for that!

Yeah, I suspect they are

Jeff Gordon Drove an excellent race.

I'll take 4th place rather then a 40th place finish.

And to top it off, The Hendrick dominance with the COT is still alive.

4 for 4 on the COT.

Once again Jeff Gordon led the most laps in this race...stock up those points buddy. :)

And finally..Congratulations to Jimmie Johnson of his fourth win of the season.

Hey how bout Robbie G?

I don't think he put anybody out of the race, cept maybe himself, did he?
Good boy Robbie!
Betsy:rolleyes:

Did any of you happen to read KaseyK's lips at the start? You had to know he was going to do lousy. They were showing him and his brother when they were introducing Allison?? who was going to sing the SSB. He turned to his brother and said "I hit that last night" to which his brother laughed.
That boy just isn't taking good care of himself. ;)
