Folks, please contain your discussions to the 125's here. I would really appreciate it. There are those of us who are tied to a desk and must work, therefore we had to set the VCR to tape the 125's.

Thanks again! :)

The TonyB tradition is to take Vacation days for the Thursday and Friday prior tot he 500... My boss kind of frowns on wine coolers on the job!

Blah... Im at work... so updates are welcome.

Gentlemen start your engines....

Wonder if they mean Jimmy Spencer too?

Jarrett is having a miss in the engine.... looks like he's lost the draft...

#10 - Scott Riggs has a right front go down and brings out the first caution....

somewhere around lap 20...

man I wonder if these tires were the right decision, everybody is having problems with these tires

the #9 is sideways on pit road... #24 spun him around...

#16 overshot the pit...

#15 leads off on pit road...

pits are saying that the right front tire are not going to last 35 laps.

#97 right front after 22 laps is showing the cords....
Why are the tires wearing so fast?

Maybe Nascar needs to look into Goodyear. At the past three plate tracks the "big ones" have all been caused by tire failure, not driver error.

This year it is because Nascar asked for a new tire compound. The teams still need to learn how to use the new tire.

Tire usually wear out because they are abused by the teams...

Too much camber, too low of tire pressure, etc.

#24 overheating and about to go a lap down....

Jeff Gordon qualified 39th, and now he is 21st in the shootout about to get lapped. Looks like he will have to rely on a provisional to make the field. He better hope Harvick, Johnson, and Kenseth dont have problems!

Be back in a few with how the 500 looks right now....

Something else to talk about:

Tony Eury Sr. said Michael Waltrip isnt being very helpful to Dale Jr. Is there chaos in restrictor plate paradise?

As the steering wheel turns....

Positions 31- 43 could improve their positions based on results of the second race, but this is the WORST starting position they can have for the 500 on Sunday....

Next in on speed would be #19, #6, #31, #45, and #43
Next in on owner's points would be #6, #40, #19, #22, #10

Tony Sr. needs to shut his lip. Mikey made a great comment. "I love Jr. to death but you have to take what his pit crew says with a grain of salt" Jr. did not seem too pissed off but Tony Sr. needs to cut the B.S. that will make the rift even bigger between the teams. That stuff can build on itself.

What an idiotic comment. Waltrip has no obligation to help Junior, he has an obligation to help himself.

Since they were focusing on Derrike Cop on TNT....

If any of the following fail to transfer in the second race, then Cope will wrap up a spot in the 500: (#09 - starts 20th, #33 - starts 18th, #72- starts 22nd)

Great work TonyB.

Glad to see that Robby has secured his spot for the 500.

I agree, I mean, when it comes to ten laps to go, I mean, you really have no friends on the track, it's everyman for himself and if Tony Eury Sr. thinks Michael will help the team and push em 100% to victory lane, he's gotta be a blind man.

I'm gonna be rooting for Kevin Harvick and Robby Gordon in the twin 125s. Good luck to the entire field.

Maybe it is Waltrip's turn to do blocking duties this time. ;)

More in depth analysis shows that since #14 and #90 didn't transfer in 125 #1 and they were 42nd and 7th in owner's points in 2003 and they were 43rd and 45th on speed on Thusday...

The only folks in any danger of goign home are Derrike Cope, Johnny Benson, Mike Skinner, Kurt Schlmerdine, and of course Larry Foyt and Kirk Schlemerdine...

Of course, there is always the chance I missed something..... but I looked it up so you wouldn't have to....
