Of course, there is always the chance I missed something..... but I looked it up so you wouldn't have to....
Nice plug on NBC!

So who here would rather see Jimmy Spencer in a thong than another erectile disfunction commercial?

#38 wins....

#40 and #29 get together (no wreck) on the last lap.....

Harvick says on the radio that he can stay in the gas all the way around Daytona, and can get a huge run on the leader... just can't do it by himself. No help from anybody else.

it looked like that one replay that harvick came down on sterling's quarter on purpose to loosen him up.

He was pretty much going sideways... so it wasn't on purpose.

Any tire problems in the second 125?
yep, front tires are junk after the first couple laps, alot of drivers say this race is gonna be about handling not drafting, and jimmie johnson said he's lost casue he used to racing in big packs and this year it's all about handling.

Okay... Here's what I have...

1 -2 For Qualifying Speed
1 - Greg Biffle
2 - Elliott Sadler

3 - 30 from 125s
3 - Dale Earnhardt Jr
4 - Sterling Marlin
5 - Tony Stewart
6 - Jimmie Johnson
7 - Jamie McMurray
8 - Mark Martin
9 - Michael Waltrip
10 - Kevin Harvick
11 - Jeff Burton
12 - Matt Kenseth
13 - Bobby Labonte
14 - Joe Nemechek
15 - Kurt Busch
16 - Ricky Rudd
17 - Brendan Gaughan
18 - Rusty Wallace
19 - Ward Burton
20 - Ryan Newman
21 - Johnny Sauter
22 - Jeremy Mayfield
23 - Dave Blaney
24 - Johnny Benson
25 - Caey Mears
26 - Scott Wimmer
27 - Kasey Kahne
28 - Ricky Craven
29 - John Andretti
30 - Robby Gordon

31 -38 From Qualifying Speed
31 - Dale Jarrett
32 - Kevin Lepage
33 - Kyle Petty
34 - Jeff Green
35 - Brain Vickers
36 - Scott Riggs
37 - Ken Schrader
38 - Terry Labonte

39 - 42 2003 Owner's Points
39 - Jeff Gordon
40 - Jimmy Spencer
41 - Larry Foyt
42 - Derrike Cope

43 Most Recent Past Champion or 2003 Owner's Points
43 - Andy Hillenberg

Going Home :(
Mike Skinner
Kirk Shelmerdine

I show the #90 (Hillenberg) has being 75th in owner's points from 2003 and the #33 (Skinner) and the #72 (Shelmerdine) as having no owner's points from 2003. I seem to remember a comment that the #90 wasn't elligible for provisioanls, but neither are the #33 and #72....

If the 43rd spot goes back to speed #33 Skinner is in and #90 and #72 go home....

Robby said it best... "They're junk"
I think thats what they were looking for. Now the guys that can manage their tires best will run better. The "Young Guns" haven't had to run on tires that wear out before the fuel run. Maybe they accomplished what they set out to do and these younger guys don't know hoe to manage tires yet. :idunno:

TNT says Skinner is in 43rd (based on speed because none of the three teams were elligible for a provisional.)

The 500 is going to be ugly. Just a feeling.

Actually I take that back... since these tires will spread out the field and probably eliminate the chances of the "big one" happening, unless someone has a tire failure.

I've replayed it several times and I can't see him gettin loose and if he did it was not severve enough to hit him in the quarter IMO

It did look like Harvick got a little loose and got in the back of Marlin. He probably didn't do it on purpose so I'd just let it go and not make a big deal out of it.

I'm not making a big deal, one replay shows he got a hair loose and one shows a different view

Anyways, since we all know of the tire issue now, whats your prediction for the 500?

I predict a lot of cautions due to tire failures and of course a huge one at least 8 cars or more. And when is Nascar going to get rid of the stupid small fuel cells, they accomplish nothing IMO.

Time to put the driver back in the race thats for sure. These tires might get Martin back to the front.

Anyhow congrats to Sadler for his win! The Fords are looking much better than last year at least. Good to see Martin and Rudd running better. Not to mention Biffle leading the first 22 laps of race one!

the #9 is sideways on pit road... #24 spun him around...

#16 overshot the pit...

#15 leads off on pit road...
punt the rookie out of the way mr. gordon  [/b][/quote]
rookie missed his pit and slammed on the brakes! But as usual, Jeff says over the radio that it was his fault, when clearly it wasn't!
