One Bad Day

As some of you know, 2014 has been without doubt the worst year of my life. This has been capped off with a horrendous Thanksgiving where my world, and all the hope, which is the only thing that keeps me hanging on, has collapsed. It's on this day where I've finally broken and realized what my life is all about.

Not hearing from family at all, having nothing to be hopeful for... I've finally reached the breaking point.

Better days are ahead. Today wasn't a bad day, it was catastrophic. I've given up everything to cover this sport, which is fine, but I'm not getting any younger, I'm ready to write the next chapter of my life. This is only the end of the first act though.

sorry this is the worst year of you life, but when you say you have "given up everything to cover this sport", it sounds like it came with consequences. sometimes family can be really strange on the decisions we make. One side or the other has to be the good and understanding person otherwise there will be no hope. The articles you write are top notch and I think you have a good future if you keep at it, but i'm sure it's hard to break into the top level where the cash is.
