Other things NASCAR can do now that it openly manipulates race results!

Why don't we just give Danica the win since NASCAR is now in the business of fixing the results when it doesn't suit the fans or the drivers.

Better yet, how about Earnhardt Jr? That'd make the fans really happy.

I don't know how you acted back when Johnson had his few black flags for jumping the restart, but did you think he was screwed and would have won?

No, because Johnson broke the rules and got the appropriate penalties. I don't play favorites with my favorite driver. I'm a stock car racing fan first, then a NASCAR fan, THEN a driver's fan.

It's not and I agree that he should've gotten black-flagged, but as you and I both know, NASCAR is terrible when it comes to consistency on punishment.

That's a very true statement, and they get away with it by saying they treat every thing different and based on how it is, it sucks as sometimes stuff that bites your driver in the ass won't bite another driver in the ass.
 
NASCAR should award the 78 the win from Richmond

I think there were several drivers who lead awhile in that race that would have been happy not to see anymore cautions while they were leading, but you can also argue that since Newman went in the pits 1st and came out 3rd his pit crew lost the race for him. But I'd still like to see them just zero everyone out and start the chase. Might get interesting.
 
So the drivers should be allowed to manipulate the results? All Nascar did was try to fix what was done.

They already fixed it with the fines and points deduction, now they're just blatantly manufacturing results and drama.

NASCAR has pretty much become WWE with race cars.

Next year I'm expecting to see drivers "trash talk" one another and say rude things about their mothers.

What Joey did was wrong tho, and all of this started right at the Clint stuff, and hell Vickers pitting also helped Joey out right? Now instead of taking Joey out(probably because like someone said Roger would appeal it) they just put Gordon in like he should have been placed back in back at the start. Plus 13 cars means more people running for it which is what everyone wants so I don't see the problem here and not like he'll win the championship anyway.
 
Seriously though, if NASCAR is going back and awarding chase slots based on what might have happened, why not just declare the 78 and the 99 both the winners? If they can create extra chase slots out of thin air why not have multiple winners when they don't know how to enforce rules.

Jack blatantly broke the rules the legal spacer was welded on instead of bolted on! As anyone knows weld is a definite performance advantage over a bolt.

IIRC, the spacer was perfect spec, but because it didn't have the Ford logo on it, NASCAR deemed it an "unapproved part". Mark got docked 46 points for that minor infraction and lost the title by 26 that year.
 
How are they gonna enforce vague rules when they can't even consistently enforce rules they already have on the books?
 
points should be awarded for: pole position, fastest lap in race (if in top 20), lead one lap, lead most laps, wins, and 2-20 race position, only. No start and park. eliminate the top 35 guarantee, you are in on speed, not fast enough, you are out. champions are exempted 5 times, per year. No chase, or eliminate the non qualifiers.

Seriously? Pics of bikinis are forbidden? Is there a list of rules for all of this? I haven't been a member here very long so I'm unfamiliar w/ all of the rules. A pic of a woman in a bikini isn't something most people consider perverse is all I'm saying, especially when said woman is in fact a racer.

How is asking a question about the rules "jacking" ? And coming from a dope who said he couldn't let my B.S post go, you're not exactly in the position to be my moral compass ok there sport? BTW, any response to that post in the other thread or are you gonna concede how completely wrong you were?
