Our race plans for the year?

Thinking about going to Pocono, Dover, or New Hampshire races. Which of those tracks have the best fan experience?

Not sure about NH but take Dover over Pocono for fan experience.
Ok thanks! Looks like Pocono is out. I was never a big fan of Pocono to begin with but it's one of the closest tracks to me and Gordon usually does well there.

Dover had more stuff for the fans to do. Also cool to be in a stadium of concrete. Loudon has a lot less traffic, and less to do for the fans, but you'll spend less for tickets.

Racing wise, IMO, Loudon is better. 11 different winners in 11 races

Hey all, new member here from Australia.

With the announcement of my forever favorite Jeff Gordon retiring I've decided enough is enough, I gotta get over to the states and watch him race and pursue that dream.

My partner and I along with my best mate have organized to come over for Chase races: Talladega, Martinsville and Texas weekends. 3 in a row. Figured that would get us the best of all 3 types of tracks?

We've booked through There and back Again, confirmed, flights booked. We're coming!

So with that going ahead I don't think I'll be getting to much else and just saving the money to have a blinder of a time. =]

One of your countrymen @Clutch.

I am close to Mid-Ohio, Eldora, Winchester, IRP and several Saturday night short tracks as well as the Motocross track at Red Bud MI. No definite plans but lots of great choices. After seeing over 100 Nascar events live over the years I am done, done, done with attending any more Nascar races live. I have always liked Vintage Motorcycle days at Mid-Ohio and I would really like to go again this year. All the tracks I mentioned are a nice motorcycle ride from home which just adds to the fun of things for me.

Started my year off strong already. Went to the Rolex 24 and Continental Tire race at Daytona in January and Feb 5, 6, & 7 I went to 3 nights of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt series at Golden Isles Speedway in GA. Kills me that I cant go to any of the races in FL in the coming weeks. Probably no more races til march. With the races last month, I have now attended races in 12 consecutive months. Never did that before due to not having any races to go to in December.

Hey, what can y'all tell me about Auburndale Speedway, FL? We're visiting family in Lakeland the weekend of March 21st. Are there any other active tracks within 30 miles or so?

And yes, I already know about the sports cars at Sebring.

I just signed up to get the alert for when Homestead tix go on sale. I should probably place a deposit. Will do on Friday. This year is going to be expensive and busy. Totally worth it.

I want to go to Richmond sometime again, maybe the Final Regular Season race, doubt it'll be this year :/
