Our very own.....

As a future journalist, I enjoyed this read. Nice job

Except I'm an OCD editor & caught this first read through:

"The MDCU 300 has been graced by the presence of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series national nhampion"

Isn't that the editors job?

I enjoyed the story. I'd kinda like to know more about the qualifying procedure, how do the heat races set the field and how many cars are entered.

Three heat races set positions 3-32. Last chance qualifier sets positions 33-42. Front row locked in on Saturday just like Daytona.

Word to the wise..or not. you never know who your next employer or an influencing force will be. Cut the Nascar's dead crap ok?

Congrats.....very cool

Nice dude! Very big accomplishment and very noteworthy for future reference.

Keep at it Andy. If Marty Smith can make it you're a shoo in. :D

All Andy needs is the name of Marty Smith's hair stylist and he'll have it made.

MARTINSVILLE, Va. – One of NASCAR’s oldest and most prestigious tracks will be in action this weekend, but not for NASCAR Sprint Cup Series racing.

On Saturday and Sunday, NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Late Model Stock Cars will take on ‘the paperclip’ known as Martinsville Speedway for the 45th time in the Martinsville DuPont Credit Union (MDCU) 300.

The MDCU 300 is one of Late Model Stock Car racing’s premier event s.

I know this is an article on late models, but I have to wonder if getting an article on nascar.com is the reason for Andy changing his mind on the disgusting Chase.
