I agree it's good they're attempting to fix it, but they ought to stick with the existing rule for the entire season. Changing the rule mid-season isn't fair to the teams that made it through the last 'restart' at Indianapolis, or any other race where a caution came out between the restart line and the S/F line. By the new rule, that wasn't a restart and those teams should have had another chance at winning.
NASCAR should have announced that the line would be moved at the start of the 2018 season. This is like the NFL announcing after Week 10 that OT will now last an entire extra quarter instead of sudden death. But then, NASCAR should have tested the entire 'Restart Line' concept in Truck series for an entire season. Instead, they instituted it as a knee-jerk reaction to Harvick's Talladega "one restart" non-restart (which was itself a reaction to G-W-C issues on plate tracks).
