Man it was cool to see real racecars on a real race track again (and the best kind at that).
The following precautions were taken:
- no fans admitted
- entries capped for both classes
- each team only allowed to bring 10 people total (crew, family, etc.)
- pits separated by a minimum of 10 feet, distancing enforced
- masks were required and worn by all
- lineups set by computer rather than with pill draw
- transponders were disinfected and placed in plastic bags to be retrieved, rather than handed out directly
The track took it very seriously without apparently being required to. Sure was a lot of work for something that is just another flu virus hyped by the dastardly media.
