Parker Kligerman

Love PK. Smart dude, articulate, and a legit galdarn wheelman.

He has not raced since Iowa, it sucks that one accident took his team out of business in the truck series. He was looking pretty for the chase.

Agreed one of the better pit reporters. Doesn't get too carried away with stupid over the top lingo. I think he talks like a normal guy unlike old JAWS! Haha

Can't get my head around a guy that age with decent talent pit reporting. Seems weird.

With all the complaints about NBC/USA, nobody has any love for Parker Kligerman? He's been awesome subbing for Kelli Stavast as a pit reporter.
Is that why he's on the tube? I wondered if he'd hung up his helmet and changed careers permanently. I'd like to see him back in a car.

I like him. He's a bit more laid back than some. He hasn't acquired a set of TV mannerisms. He presents the info and stays out of its way. If he can't find a ride and does wind up doing this long-term, I hope he maintains his current presentation style.

Yes, Kelli and Rut are in Rio for the Olympics.

Nascar and Golf......go together like hand and glove......demographically speaking that is.
Not so fast, meet Boo Weekley LOL

I've been watching the Olympics almost nonstop every night on NBC as that's when they air the most relevant competitions, and I haven't seen Rutledge once guys...

I haven't even seen him on the NBCSN coverage.

Maybe they'll keep him through the week end of the twentieth.....
Maybe they'll keep him through the year 2020.

EDIT: Eh, I take that back. It's the pieces and direction he's give that I usually don't like. I remember a couple of times when he was either directed differently or allowed to take a less 'Y'all watch this' approach. On those rare occasions, I could appreciate what he was doing.

But I don't like his umpteen 'fan in the infield', 'food in the midway', 'stupid driver RV lot tricks' nonsense.

I remember back at Pocono when the pit reporters were making their way through the microbudget brigade, and he got one of them to open up on the differences between being there and being at a major team, and the driver went into this really detailed answer, vs. one of the other reporters whose inquiries to another microbudgeteer were closer to the kinds of things you'd expect (although the driver there still did a good job of answering the basic question and then getting the greater detail in anyway). I feel like that line of inquiry came from Parker's own experience coming up through the development pipeline and the time he's spent at small teams, and it's something I really liked seeing.

You talking about that little frumpy announcer that appears everywhere?

Know nothing of it.

Watched the guy sit onna hunk of cardboard and toboggan down the bank at Bristol during a snow break. FF thru his stuff ever since.
Yeah, that's the kind of stuff that puts me off. Then I realized wouldn't like it whether it was coming from Rutledge, Benny Parsons, Jim McKay, or Walter Cronkite.

He's been on NBCSN sporadically. The heavyweights have been on NBC (Bob Costas, Mike Tirico, Al Michaels).

Leigh Diffey's been calling the rowing competitions on MSNBC.

The networks always do silly demonstrations to show how impressively deep the banking is at Bristol. Never fails.

I've been to Winchester Speedway:wub::wub::wub:. Go there for the 400 in October then get back to me, Rut.
