Phoenix Cup Thread

Gordon showed why he has so many championships. Excellent run.
Truex is a moron.
Welcome to stock car school Mr. Montoya.

Hey now...is not a good race if Montoya doesn't crash or does something stupid. :D

If any contact it was light and he did not do a bump and run.

Good run for Green and Johnny S also! What bout that 43 car?

It's amazing how you guys hate Montoya.

Gordon takes cheap shot - it's ok. Montoya makes contact, it's not okay. Is there a double standard here or what?

Hendrick Motor Sports 3 for 3 on COT.:bounce:

Don't even get me started on this Car of Tomorrow crap.

Rick Hendrick also had 30 tests with all 4 cars, that's 120 tests between 4 cars, whereas most other teams haven't had those opportunities. And don't give me the "Better driver" crap either.

Yes, Johnson is a great racecar driver and Gordon once was. Kyle Busch is a good racecar driver, but he's a bonehead.

It's just NASCAR's way of creating something that helps the bigger teams dominate the sport.

Andy, Take a nap already. :D

I am. Good night boys and girls. :)

Explain Cheep Shot please?

He NEVER touched Tony, it was good hard CLEAN racing. Iv seen Tony give more cheep shots then Mike Tyson and Ric Flair combined. ;)

Dang dude. That's funny!!!! :D

Tony's just in a major attitude funk right now.
I'm ready for him to build a bridge and get over himself... I miss Old Tony.

and they say this sport is boring. By the looks of the firey replies to this thread by certain individuals, you can certainly say that it's anything but boring. And very emotional. If your guy doesn't win, then the others cheated. Well guess what, the top 30 cars all cheated and dissed my guy Kasey. He really had the car to beat in this race, but because NASCAR gave everyone, and I mean everyone else a leg up, their cars were faster than the only legal car there, Kahne's. Watching Pit Command, I could see that Kasey was moving in the wrong direction and I just can't understand how that could happen when he always has the best car. It only means one thing, since his team is always on top of things, everyone else cheated, and with the okay of NASCAR.

I'm going to take my ball and go home.

Well there's his problem right there. He should be driving in a counter clockwise direction. I can just hear the radio transmissions now:

Ray: Kasey you be careful out there. The announcers just said someone is driving the wrong way on the track.
Kasey: (High pitched excitement in his voice) It's more than just one! It's a whole bunch of them...
Ray: (Off mic) Damn has that boy been listening to Erin again?

BP, good one. Yeah, he certainly didn't have his car right. Also, in most of the races, he is always telling his team what his car is doing, but after the first 4th of the race, he stopped telling them that it was no good. His spotter kept giving him lap times, and saying he was doing good, but when everyone is passing him, he's got to be thinking, yeah right. I'm doing really good here. Near the end of the race, David Ragan was behind him and I thought Ragan would actually pass him in that torn up car. He didn't, but Kasey wasn't moving away from him either. And remember this, Kahne finished ahead of his teammates. I know that Scott was involved in an accident, but he was moving backwards faster than Kasey was and Elliott was down one more lap than Kahne. I don't think that Erin would have done any worse.

Who knows but something isnt right when he finished in the top 10 last year and what 12th the year before and now running what 30th?? Its pretty sad I must say!
