ISM - Ingenuity Sun Media - will pay an annual single-figure million-dollar fee during the next decade for the track's first-ever naming-rights sponsorship, azcentral sports has learned.

Hell, they should've waited until after this year with Monster not knowing if they'll stick around or not. They could've sponsored the whole sport for that sum of money.

That's what they should do to Loudon. Shrink the track to 3 quarters of a mile and bank the turns to 20degrees. It would be the best race of the year.

Richmond needs to do something as the racing has become progressively worse over the past few years. I know each race won't be a masterpiece but it would be great if we could circle the calendar at the beginning of the season for the must see races that you knew would be really entertaining. It is at the point now where Martinsville is the only must see race for many and we need more.

If 'Lowes' and 'Infineon' are indicators, you won't have to. I think 'Auto Club' is the only name rights that have stuck.

But what do I know? I'd never heard of 'Hard Hat Wednesday' before this post.

Around here we've been known to refer to the track as being as far away as Waco, Austin, or El Paso. See any of the Texas pre-race discussions. It's just a running joke and everyone really knows where the track; we just pretend we don't know it's in Galveston.

The day races there in the spring have been pretty good, was disappointed to see it go back to night.
