Pocono I Race thread

Can someone please shove a restrictor plate over Weber's mouth?

Kill 2 birds with one stone; stuff LarryMac in Weber's neck.
Shouldn't that be the other way around? :lol2:

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus needs to hire LarryMac - he'd be perfect at the circus.

I like Dr. Punch, but he sucks in the booth as well. ESPN still has the worst coverage ever.

Cannot be worse than this crew, I mean we replaced Benny with A long haired hippie.

Kyle needs to quit and record another country album.

Little things aside, I like the coverage TNT is giving. At least we know there are more than 10 cars on the track.

I like Kyle Petty.

And all of you who complain about commercials -- lookie here!

TV guide said race coverage started at 2. I tuned in at 2, and sure enough, pre-race ceremonies.

Tony Stewart wins, in his own car, for his own team, at Pocono! :beerbang:

How about that? Who was it that said Tony would never win another race?

:beerbang: :beerbang: :beerbang: :beerbang:

David Reutimann 3rd, Marcos Ambrose 6th, Juan Pablo Montoya 8th! :beerbang:

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut twice -- Sideways Sam finishes 10th.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Tony's the man, HOT DANG, free copies at Office Depot tomorrow!!!

1st win fot Stewart/Haas/Hendrick

WOO-HOO!!! :bounce: Good Job Tony!!!:beerbang:
I lost my electric due to a bad storm about 2/3s of the way through and got it back with 10 laps to go, in time to see Tony win :)
Nice finish for Reutimann, too! :beerbang:

Very good run for Reuti!

The whole Stewart/Haas team is stout, No Neck came in a strong 6th after early mechanical issue.

Winner leading the points, watch out Guys. Still don't count out Rousch drivers Edwards and Biffle, they have came a long way this year.

Tony needs to be re-fitted for a driving suit cuz he drove his a$$ off!!

I think the fat lady sang! Or was it the fat boy from Indiana? Wooooooooooo Hooooooooooooo...

Ryan will take the track at the Irish Hills next. :beerbang:

Actually he pretty much coasted the last few laps, but that was what it took to win,

You are absolutely right! He coasted because he was six seconds out in front. Kinda like JR did at Michigan last year. Except Tony didn't pass the pace car. :D

Very happy to see Tony get his first win! Way to go Smoke!! Nice job Ryan. Last but not least, for making a cruddy car into a great finish, Jeff & Steve! :)

I've got the .mp3 of Kyle singing "ol king richard" if anyone is interested.
It used to be a big request when I spun records at 1570 WTLK Taylorsville, NC!!!
