Pocono RACE thread -- Rd. 1

Harvick got real lucky there getting the caution almost immediately after his flat. Puts him right back with all the guys who just pit.

and Smoke got caught speeding in pits. He dun ****** up.

That's not terrible for Stewart. Now he can try to save and make it to the end.

That doesn't tell me when cautions will be, my point is how the hell does TNT knowing exactly when a caution will be if we don't?
no problem....just wish they would save some commercials for after the caution does come out.

Typical Jeff Gordon...best tires in the field yet still loses spots on the restart.

how come nascar can't have that button to push coming in the pit like Juan didn't push in the indy 500

Say we get a long green flag run like very long how can they wait? Like I said it's best to have earlier than later. Networks have a certain amount of commercials they need to make up the money for the deals. I rather miss a caution early than a good race at the end.

Because that takes away from the skills a driver need to have to compete in the top tier racing series?

Because the hillbillies get mad when you want to put any electronics in these racing taxi cabs. Mention push-to-pass and watch the NASCAR fans get their panties in a bunch.

No top tier racing series in the world even had pit lane speed limits until 1993. Another great NASCAR "innovation" to the world racing that was copied everywhere.:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Only JJ can get destroyed on pit road, lose every spot possible and rally back to the lead.
