Burnt toast only went over there because he knew he would never get anywhere near Harvick. He just wanted to act bad instead of the *** that he is. Anyway he can make all the remarks he wants but who got a top 5 and who didn't?

I think AJ Allmendinger took his place today. Since when do you block to the grass? Do we need a yellow line rule at pocono? That was....uncalled for. Kasey is lucky he didnt hit any more trees than he did.

on a side note: POCONO, WHERE ARE YOUR FENCES?

I think he should but it sounds like it's not going to happen. Apparently 'drivers have at it' also includes family.....

Logano, crew chief Greg Zipadelli and team president J.D. Gibbs headed for the trailer. In reality, NASCAR wanted to talk to Tom Logano for a refresher course in father etiquette at the racetrack with both crews and media after making contact with TNT‘s Ralph Sheheen. The elder Logano’s hard card (all access pass) was suspended after an altercation with Greg Biffle at Fontana last year. After Biffle dumped Joey Logano in the Nationwide Series race, Tom Logano went to fight his son’s battle.

That incident alone created the perception that the driver was an easy mark. Not surprisingly, Biffle went after Logano again this year at Fontana in the Nationwide race and Harvick followed suit at Bristol. NASCAR encourages their boys to “have at it,” but at some point Tom Logano has to learn it’s the responsibility of his son to fight his own battles. If reinforcement's needed, that’s when the No. 20 crew can step in.

Although NASCAR will not take Tom Logano’s hard card again, it would behoove Joe Gibbs Racing management to keep daddy on a short leash.

agree. shifting added an element to the race you didn't see at most other tracks. it required more skill.

Kasey didn't have to push the issue. I think that he's looking to speed up his exit from Petty, especially after his post-race remark that "I don't usually talk to AJ, so I don't think I'll start now".
 
NASCAR on Tom Logano:

"We don't have an issue with Joey. We don't have an issue with Kevin Harvick," Darby said. "That's something that Kevin and Joey will work out. There's no reason for us to get involved. We didn't see any necessary harm or foul. Just a couple of drivers talking about what they're going to do tomorrow at the end of the race and everything was fine."

Instead, Darby, NASCAR president Mike Helton and vice president of competition Robin Pemberton had a short meeting with Logano's father, Tom, who was also involved in the incident on pit road.

"Mr. Logano, he did what he could do to restrain himself," Darby said. "At the last, he wound up interfering with the television broadcasters and that's not the right thing to do. And that's all that was, to explain to him, 'Look, you've got to stand back. You've got to let Joey be a race car driver. You have to have enough faith in the Gibbs team, Greg Zipadelli and all the other crew members to let them compete as a team.'

"It was a short message and I think he understands and we'll go on to next week."

Darby said no penalties will be assessed and Logano's hard card was not in danger of being confiscated, unlike at Fontana earlier this season. Darby said the meeting was an effort to give the elder Logano "good direction to think about."

"You can't deny the fact of a passionate parent," Darby said. "You have to appreciate that. But there also has to be a line in the sand as to how far that passion can go. All of our competitors are licensed to compete. They're licensed and given permission, in a sort, to not only compete as athletes but to display the emotions of that competition, after or before, whatever. And that's fine."

Which proves the immaturity of widdle Joey. I don't ever recall any drivers dad pulling the chit his does. In case you get the idea I don't like him you are right.

Not really NASCAR, but you apparently missed Hornishes dad getting knocked on his ass a couple years ago after attacking another IRL driver on pit road.
