Pocono Race thred

If I wanted to see cars go that slow, I would sit on the overpass and watch the 405. what a terrible race. Nascar needs to pull it head out and do something about this.

I thought last weeks race was bad. This was worse.

They're working on it.

Yep......they are doing everything they can to try to improve this sport.

Just about as class act as the punk in the 17.
1. Harv-icky cuts Kenseth off.
2. Kenseth does less in retaliation that the former occupant of the 29 would have. You know, that guy you all thought walked on water. Deny it.
3. UNDER CAUTION, Icky decides to spin Kenseth out.
4. Kenseth gave it back to him.

The guy's a pukey little waste of internal organs, and today he showed his ass yet again and showed the world why he will never win a championship at this level. I pray somebody kicks me out of here for saying it: The little puke does not deserve to be in the sport at any level.

Harvick cuts cry baby in 17 off wep right. Kenseth tried to pick Harvick's wheels off the track watch the race next time. :XXROFL:

Tickets to the race: 250$
Parking: 20$
Beer, soda & hot dogs: 50$
T- shirts, hats etc: 150$

You Childress boys never see a damn thing except what you want to see. Any comment about Icky spining someone under caution, or is that OK with you?

Icky pulls a stunt under green and gets paid back under green. Icky then takes it upon his royal self to spin a guy out under caution. He got that paid back too. What is it all you RCR crybabies like to say? Oh yeah, RUBBIN'S RACIN'! Guess Icky getting a dose of his own medicine didn't sit too well with the infantile crowd in silver and black.

I hope Matt takes the punk out in turn one of lap one next week. Hard.

Okay, EMP. You need to tone it down.

In my opinion, neither Harvick NOR Kenseth are innocent in this whole mess.

Those two are gonna have to get into the steel cage for a biting, scratching hair pull session.

These last two races have been anything but boring, I guess.

Then pitch me. I'll call it what it is. He needs to be taught a lesson in manners.

Toss me if you like, matters not to me in the least.

I'm only asking you to tone it down. Is that too much???

Apparently.

I sure Harvick and Kenseth both will have a little less butt when they come out of the ovel office. And their wallets will be lighter.

I didn't get to watch the race... so can somebody explain what happened between Harvick and Kenseth in an unbiased way?

Let's see.............Matt cut Harvick off in green flag racing, the yellow flew and Harvick spun Matt out. Harvick was then the recipient of a retaliatory spinout by Matt.

Does that about cover it folks???

But when that idiot in the 97, is all good huh? Even when he does it to his own teammate.

Don't agree with what happened, but its nothing worse than what the 97 has done all year. He just happens to do it under full speed green flags.

Well, I kinda like both of them boyz. But a fine that merely
takes $$$ is like taking babies diaper away. Only one hurt
is the one that took the diaper. LOL
Take POINTS!!!!!!!!! If ya really want them rowdy kids to sit up and pay attendhun
take POINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW, I kinda liked this race a lot better than last weeks race(?).

But I sure do wish NASCAR could get it's act together!!!!

What about the NEW fast FORD MOTORS? Think i seen more smoke rollin out of them then at a puff daddy concert.

RCR Crybabys? and how many fords blew up today? i think i heard more of them crying then any chevy guy.

Also EMP, if you are saying that walk on water commiet for Dale Sr.....i do not worship him, he was just a heck of a car driver and he was the best durring his time, but no driver now will beable to do what he did and have the fans that he did......and if there is it sure as heck wont be Matt "mr perfect" Kenseth, or Kurt "rubberhead" Bush

I think Harvick can win a cup before Rubberhead. and harvick is a better driver.

now, its over and done with so lets just shut up about it folks....and just why did the 17 pit anyway? that was stupid on his part.

Thank you. I guess it kinda seems like both of their faults to me.

I think the best way to put it would be to say that the 29 and the 17 got into it. Is that unbiased enough? And I'm the Wartime Consiglieri here....geez, i thought the DRIVERS were acting immature, I can see a lot of folks on here tonight who probably would have been throwing bottles at the track.

Really? Why do you say that? Because we get excited about defending our drivers? That's about the only thing NASCAR hasn't made a rule change on....

And I don't see anyone here that would throw a bottle on the track. Those idiots will get weeded out of the stands sooner or later.

Ok so what I don't get here is why Harvick got penalized and Kenseth didn't? Kenseth was already back in the pack. To penalized Harvick with 10 positions is just ridiculous.

Again, Kenseth gets around the rules because he is a former champion.

The way it happened and the way I see it:

Harvick cut in front of Kenseth down the straight. As this happened Kenseth pushed Harvick down the straight. Kenseth got Harvick loose, then passed him into the turn. Everything was fair game here.

Once the caution flew, Harvick spun Kenseth out. Strike one. Then, Kenseth spun Harvick out, strike two. Both were wrong, both should have been penalized, but Id have to say that Harvick threw out the first strike by spinning out Kenseth during a caution first.

But that doesn't make what Kenseth did any better? Where is Kenseth's deduction of points?

You know I'm only giving the race a 5 but I'm giving this thread a 10. Much more exciting than the race. :D

Agreed.

Nascar would have put Kenseth the last car on the lead lap. And sence he pitted he was already the last car on the lead lap. They may both still lose points.

When Greg Biffle got in between Harvick and Kenseth, I was so waiting and expecting Harvick to spin Biffle out too.

I wish I was talking about defending our drivers...I'm talking about the fact that people will boil this down to a "you RCR people" or "you Ford" people, like it makes a big damn difference what it says on the engine, some will blow and some won't...BUT, trying to turn Kenseth vs. Harvick into a RCR or Chevy vs. Ford issue is ludicrous...then, taking it further and having to taunt one another shows the signs of maturity that WOULD lead someone to throw bottle onto the track.

"Oh hell," thought the idiot, "he's in a (insert car company), he must be evil and out to get the guys in the (other car company)'s"

If it were merely getting excited about defending your driver, there wouldn't be any of this other whiny BS that I see all over the place, it would be something DEFENSIVE about the driver, not OFFENSIVE about the other one. So please, don't take my comments out of context here, but when you say "defending our drivers" you fail to mention the offending other people's drivers issue...and while we're on the subject, Kyle Busch doesn't like being called "shrub", so cut it out.
