Pocono Race

Wonder how long Joe Gibbs will put up with this stuff?

Tonys a heck of a racer, but he needs to get Jack Nicholason to give him some Anger Magment!

Glad he got black flagged, he's gonna kill somebody one of these days.

yeah well darn deserved..too bad he got his lap back

^ what? it looked to me that clint was racing him hard..like he should.

tony just thinks that the whole race track is for only him to race on.

Did you here BP's comment about Petty just hitting the wall? "They'll be lucky to fix that" did he NOT see that car?

Boywer clearly pinched Tony up into the fence.

well bobby..it seens that tony's luck is getting worse lol\

EDIT: wow quite a few black flags handed down today eh

Black flag for Edwards. The boys need get some control of themselves.

hey guys..do you know where i can view the live point standings?

That's racing, Boywer just like Tony and everyone else on the track is running hard, it happens, that's racing. The difference between everyone else and Tony is that Tony thinks that all other drivers should pull over and let him go every lap, that's not racing. Tony needs to grow up and not try to kill everyone that gets into him on occasion.

man i really hate to see whenever dale jr crashes..also he is so polite..not blaming anyone.

i admire that.

You're right, he's a class act when it comes to that.

Yeah, Boywer was racing hard, racing Tony hard up into the fence.

Like Tont's never ran anyone up to the fence?

I seen what happaned at 1st a racing deal, maybe the 07 slide up more then he expected to, but Tony should of just pumped his fist and let it be.

I was glad to see Edwards pay tony back. But the way it looks, they both wont make the chase.

Drivers should keep their hands where they belong - on the wheel.

Y'all can whine and mope about Tony's passion to drive and win, but remember, that's the drive it takes to achieve what he has.
He's the first and only driver to win championships in Stock cars, Indy cars, open wheel Midget, Sprint and Silver Crown and WKA go-carts. That's 4 USAC titles, 1 Indy title and 2 Cup Championships.
If you're not aggressive, you'll never be a Champion.
Oh yeah, and Boywer started it.

ohh that's funny...when ever tony drives aggresively is ok but when jeff gordon do..all hell breaks loose. i found that really conflicting eh

Did I say something about Jeff?????

no, not you but whenever jeff does something..everybody goes all out. aleast the haters.

So Carl Edwards pulls up to Tony Stewart and throws his hands into the air wondering why Tony ruined his day and Tony flips Carl off? What the hell is that? Sorry BobbyFord, I really like Smoke but what he did today was total crap. Had Carl not been there Clint could have easily hit head on into the wall at over 100 mph. That was a dangerous stupid move on Tony's part. Sure Clint was racing him hard early but the second part of the equation should have never happened.

agreed with you N2racin88. i'm starting to dislike tony now.

Why hasn't anyone blamed Boywer for initiating the entire incident???
Tony shouldn't have retaliated like he did, but Boywer needs to stop driving like the rookie he is.
Had Clint not been there Tony wouldn't have almost been run into the fence.
I hope someone sends Clint a clip from the Stewart post-race interview.

Agree with N2racin88.

Heck, i race guys hard, but i know when to hold em, and i know when to fold them, seems Tony has not figgered that out fully yet. If someone bumps me, or races me in the turn, i dont turn down and try to spin em, i back off let them go, and pass em back, clean.

Most of us agreed that Clint was racing pretty hard early. That does not give permission for Tony to do what he did. If that was the case we'd have a bunch of wrecked race cars and some hurt drivers as well.

Racing pretty hard and making a jackass move are two different things.

I hope someone sends Tony a clip from the Stewart post-race interview.

He's the last to talk about someone needing to give and take.

Should Tony have lifted, being on the outside??
Bowyer belongs in the Busch series for a few more seasons.

Bobby, Bobby, Bobby, you said it yourself. Bowyer is a rookie. He's going to make mistakes. Tony is the veteran with all of those championships. Including 2 in Cup. Maybe Bowyer did make a rookie mistake but the jackass move was made by Tony. He needs to learn not to let his emotions get the best of him. He wants to talk after the race about how guys need to learn this or that but maybe as one of the elder statesmen on the track he should be able to show them how. Intentionally wrecking guys is not the way to go about it. How anyone can respect his actions on the track is beyond me.

Oh, and as to being on the outside, Bowyer was in front of Tony. Why did Tony choose that moment to press the action by going along side? He had the better car and he probably would have passed him that lap anyway. He needs to learn patience. Pressing the action needlessly is a rookie mistake. One a champion doesn't make...

07 = Hard racing
20 = Jackass move

Glad we cleared that up.

07 = currently 19th in points, no wins, no championships in ANY form of racing.
20 = 2 Cup championships, 4 USAC championships, Indy car champion, WKA champion at 16 years old AND currently in the Chase.

Glad we got that cleared up :)

Wouldn't that have been "give and take" on Tony's part?

I'm not blaming Tony at all.....Bowyer might have been tight and slid up the track or his spotter might have screwed up. But for Tony to get on TV and complain that drivers need to give and take is totally blasphemous.

And yes, I had to spell-check blasphemous.
