What are the qualifications for becoming NASCAR management?

I don't know squat about the guys 'running' things...but I would hope their credentials/history are pretty impressive.

I don't have a problem deferring to someone who is more knowledgeable or qualified than myself.

I'm just curious if they earned their way to the top...(I know we have a couple "Jr" s in the ranks...)

I might be mistaken but I thought Dalhmer(I hope I spelled that right) bought chrysler, same company that owns mercedes-benz.

I voted for the points system, however it was a toss up between that and the whole organization. I'm just not to happy with all the upcoming changes in our sport. It seems as if it is not going in the direction the sport's "pioneers" intended, IMO.
