qualifying in SNOW?!?!

somebody tell me...

when was the last time it snowed at bristol on a race weekend? When was the last time mother nature interfered with 3 race weekends in a row? and when was the last time Robby Gordon saw let alone threw a snowball?
 
If memory serves, wasn't it the year Alan Kulwicki was killed? It seems to me I remember his hauler making a lap at Bristol on it's way out, in the snow.

well, its an impound race and a 1 day event, an they do have lights. If they can get the weather out they can cram quals in and move the race over an hour or 2 or 3
 
Busch race should go off as scheduled. Snow stopped, sun is out, track is almost dry, and lineup set by owner points.
