There's several different Disabled Vets organizations around. Not being a smart azz but google the one you're interested in donating too and look at their yearly report. High salaries in the organization is a no go for me. I do donate through my local VN Vets. American Legion might be able to help you out.

Check out a local VFW too....the one I belong to does a lot for Walter Reed Hospital in DC.
