Question?

I'm sorry Ted butt I have to disagree There is Nothing like being at a short track with 43 cars Thundering by and making your body QUIVER and being able to see Everything that happens on track. NOTHING!
Yeah I Love my restrictor plate tracks butt if they took one off the schedule and added another short track I'd grin my shiney lil @$$ off and BUY THE TICKETS!!!

BTW I thought the TV coverage of Sonoma was awful especially the racing footage and camera angles without listening to the announcers I had no iadea what was going on. Watkins Glenn always seems much better to me.
I agree ,I have been to races at Martinsviile and Bristol . Richmond is #1 on my list of tracks to get to. But road courses seem to have become much more competitive than they used to be.

Not too well. I guess once it goes on a tangent, everyone seems to forget the question. Hell I've forgotten it myself. In the future, I guess I'll have to look elsewhere for an answer.

I for one won't even try to give you an answer next time.

I answered your Aussie question. We dont have any ovals. All our road courses are a mix or clock and anti-clock. Only two weekends ago I was on a clockwise track and later in the year I go to a anti-clockwise. These are build depending on the layout of the land etc.

Bring on Sunday morning......... or Sat night for you guys.

Also..... happy 4th of July (belated).... we flew our house American flag for y'all.

Do they no longer race at Calder Park Raceway, other than drag racing?

Drag racing for sure, its nearly weekly. Track racing (not oval) yep, however the Thunderdome (oval) I think now is used by Drifters.

Heres a little Wiki link which talks about Australia's very limited oval (Nascar and Auscar) racing lifespan.
