Race Day At Martinsville

It'll be interesting to see how the tire situation plays out. Lots of drivers are having concerns about getting rubber into the track today.

Second time in the last three races there's been concerns about tires.

Nascar says there is not a problem

Sprint Cup series director John Darby said there is no tire problem. "Here's what we know: The tire is different than what it was last year. The tire's not failing," Darby said. "The tire has some different driveability characteristics that everybody is dealing with. But it's a combination of a tougher left side and softer ride side, so the cars feel different. It's hard to make a judgment either way right now. We'll see what 500 laps of racing does."(

Single file train racing.Guess I will go outside and cut the grass be back around lap 475.

Young Mr. Busch is getting knocked about a bit today.

Actually, yes it was. Sure, it took Kasey out too, but he would have hit that wall a ton more had he not been there.

I see that, but I'm not gonna be happy either way.

This race is way too long, it should be about 350 laps...yawning.

If Stewart was sour after last race, imagine what he'll be like when this is over.

My guess is that Darian Grubb is getting his resume updated.

CAT sandwich there

This should be fun :p

Gordon takes the lead!

Now Allmendingererer!

LOL at the announcers deciding and sticking with the greatness of Harvick's closing abilities.

Jeff Gordon playing a little bit of snake...he'll have something for 'em when this starts to wind down.;)

Just before they went to a commercial break I saw a guy throw a hot dog wrapper on the track. Watch this...... :D

Harvick is consistently running the fastest laps...look out!

Poor Jr (and Jr Fans) but nice showing by the 88, and that was some good racing.

That must have been like a kick in the crotch to Jr fans. So close yet no win.
