Race Day At Martinsville

This race is way too long, it should be about 350 laps...yawning.

Agreed.

Leave the Daytona 500, Coca-Cola 600, and Brickyard 400 (and maybe a few others) alone.

Shorten all other races. Especially the Phoenix race. I'm bringing a hammock next time for mid-race.

I did enjoy today's race, though. But, yeah, 350 laps sounds about right.

The only laps you really need to watch are the last 50 of any race, but seriously this race is way too long. NH has it right 300 laps, get it done, and get out, anything over 400 IMO is just yawn material.

I like Martinsville just fine the way it is. If you like a shorter race, tune in around 4:00pm. It'll be over before you know it.

:beerbang:

Maybe there should be 2 starting times I want to watch the whole race time and I have a short attention span time.:D

Young Mr. Busch is getting knocked about a bit today.

Yeah how many times, I heard DW say "Kyle Busch ain't gonna take much more of that" Well, he seemed to take it fine, last week with DW though it was, being Mr. Nice Guy is gonna help Kyle Busch. He got owned many times today and throughout the year in Cup, even by big O today. I know he still leads in points and is having a great year, but I don't know what happened that he became content with finishing 2nd or 3rd, either marriage or nascar or both sucked the emotion out of him

If Kyle Busch settles down and sees the bigger picture, he'll easily challenge for the cup.

I think we're already seeing a much different Kyle. A couple of years ago we may have seen him park his car on the track and head for the motorhome after that race. I think he's growing up. It isn't going to be long and he'll be introduced as a NASCAR Cup Champion.

I agree. Last year we would've seen him wreck Sauter in the trucks and wreck Jr in cup. Still I don't like the new Kyle. Look what it did to Tony when he settled down how he was on the track.

Only thing is, Kyle's still kickin butt.

I got him two championships.

It was fun to hear him whine about it after the race. :D

He sure did whine a bunch. I mean seriously, how many times have we seen a car run right behind, next to or in front of JJ get a speediing penatly, while JJ just goes right on his merry way.

I don't recall either but that was funny as all heck watching four guys with hammers trying to pound that hood back down. Maybe not for Burton though.

I still think he will, but he could easily have four wins. They seem to promoting wins more then ever. He could also have a bad week and be back in 12th in points. Still 4 top fives is impressive, he is not that great at Texas or Talladega we will see if he is better at those tracks in the next two weeks.
