Raceday thread

It looked like Vickers' tire just blew like Jrs did in practice. No warning. This is killing my fantasy lineup.

You must be blind or something. If you noticed the 44 blew a tire and jeff really had no where to go, if he did not try to move up, he would of hit the 44. It's a catch 22. No falght of Jeff's or David's just racing.

I did not see that tell after i posted, sorry my falght on that. Im using a new computer and not use to the keypad mouse pad/slider so i may of missed a few post.

Another tire bites the dust! This one could be serious!!! Denny Hamlin went from the yellow line right to the outside wall. Out of the car and onto a stretcher. :eek:

I knew when I saw Junyer's tire problem and the problems in ARCA that someone was gonna get hurt.:mad:
 
Gil had a point. I may well be tire pressures over what the should be- high base pressure, plus hot asphalt, plus hot tires, equald very high pressures, then camber.

I think that may ust be it?

just got back from the football game. Fill me in, please. Is this another race with bad tires? Are they throwing mandantory cautions again??
 
Whoever's running the mikes in the ABC booth isn't doing a very good job. The announcer's voices keep falling off.

Evernham had a counterpoint though. There have been too many problems. And it's not just this race. Remember Atlanta? Remember "The 15th Allstate 400 at the Brickyard"?

This isn't limited to Goodyear. Stenhouse went airbourne, and a ton of drivers were swept up in the lap 12 big one because of a tire.

I'll repeat what I said Friday - someone's gonna die here if these tire issues persist.

They need to. I'd hate to see them ruin this race, but we've already had a driver hurt today.

ABC sucks, deal with it.

Be glad you're seeing it live. I can't even watch most of the ARCA races because they're on MavTV, which is only avaliable on FIOS (and I live a mile outside of avaliability for Verizon FIOS). :mad:

My OTA DTV just cut out, had to switch to the cable feed. MAN is there a difference. I want my DTV back.

26 cuts a RR.
 
If nothing else this could help attract a sponsor to DEI. They ran strong.
