I think you idiots missed the point of my post. I am all for Spike having time for himself. My point is if he knows he wont have time during the week to run the game then to ask someone to help out. If anything I am asking for him to relieve some of the pressure off his shoulders. Oh well it worked out for me anyways. Have fun VaDirt, dick!

Well I made a stupid decision this weekend! Stupid me decided to change my pick to Kasey Kahne when Spike started this thread instead of sticking with my original pick in Andy's thread (Kurt Busch). :( Ouch.

I went from Jeff Gordon in the unofficial thread to Joey Logano in Spikes official thread. At least he finished in the top 10.
 
I went from Bowyer to Bowyer, so I guess that I am happy. However I have to say that as far as I was ever concerned... the other thread was only for fun and that this is Spikes game to control.

Something that also had not been bought up, Spike has first opportunity to pick in his game (fair enough for me as he runs it) so I dont feel it to be fair that another topic picks should be included in his game if Spikes cant pick in his own game. After all.... its only a game isnt it? just a game and I dont care who ass get chapped.

Anyway.... race is run... winner is getting drunk... spanners are packed up and lets go for next week. This will be nice as for me its not a 4am start.

Thunder buddies for life.

I like how its ok to bitch in the thread about him not being consistant and no one cares but bitch in the official and everyone jumps down the persons throat I'm with Jeffery.

Please dont apologise, you are doing an excellent job and the ones complaining should play elsewhere if they dont understand that this is a fun game you are running as a favor for us. Some people can't stand it if they dont get an early pick advantage so they throw a tantrum. If you read the "unofficial" thread you will see that most of us were concerned for you because of your absence but the same few grumps were more worried about getting their picks in first. You are doing a great job and most of us look forward to the thread every week no matter what day you start it on.
 
Changing up the posting day and time really helps give people who aren't able to be on all the time like Fender and DP are, a chance at posting a better pick before they get in .

Wait a second..... DP here...... I am on here most of the early morning and early afternoon hours but I'm seldom on here in the evenings when that thread is created/posted. Hardly ever should you see me getting to pick before the 10th position or so. I always feel as though I am at a huge disadvantage because of this but hey, that's they way it goes. No big deal.

FB is on here nearly constantly but doesn't play. I never see DP post in the evenings.

But I agree that it's best that it's random. I was lucky enough to be on last night when he posted this week but that doesn't guarantee successful picks.
