Random NASCAR Stuff to talk about.....

This was interesting. I didn't know Preece with RFK is leased for only one year.

Ware is fielding one full-time team this season for his son, Cody. The organization leased its second charter to RFK Racing for the 2025 season, which is being used for Ryan Preece.

I thought that maybe the new contract is more lenient about leasing charters so Ware thinks he can make more money as a leasing agent than a competitor. :p

Okay, I think I understand now. I was thrown by the use of the word 'channel' in a way I was unfamiliar with.

Outside of music, I normally search YouTube for some type of 'How To'. These are one-time searches and I don't look to see who created the content. Hence, I don't subsequently search for creators and had never seen one's page / channel.

After having looked at NASCAR's, I don't think I'll be back. Nothing appealed to me but the new hire is welcome to persuade me.

Talk about a Youtube channel that needs help , Nascar's needs serious help. Somebody needs to be filming practices and explaining what they are doing. Tire tests should be covered. Not just pointing a camera at them but well edited content. Live driver interviews during these tests. Pretty tired of watching the sitting in a studio and shooting the B.S. that all of these podcasts do over and over saying the same things. They are mostly unwatchable. Lets show some manufacturing and car building processes, engine bays, setup processes, technology for those that are interested in those areas.

The production costs for those are close to zero. Remember when the sports networks used to show actual sports during the week with only a couple of hours of studio recaps a day? Outside of talent salaries, talking heads shows don't cost much.

Obviously I have no basis for comparison. I'm encouraged to hear there's more potential than what I saw.

Sounds like you should be filling out the job application!
