RATE THE FIGHT: Charlotte II

Race: 8
Winner: 9. Harvick was more than overdue for a win.
Fight: 10, just because it was Kenseth that jumped Brad. It came completely out of nowhere. Everyone has their breaking point.
ESPN/ABC: I'd give them a -100 but they don't even deserve that much. I have nothing good to say about them tonight. They got lucky with all that craziness at the end. We missed the green flag and the first 25 laps of the race because they were too busy showing a college football game, and even worse, an NBA preseason game. Then, to add insult to injury, they threw in their little network promos and a commercial break before finally going to the race coverage, which kicked off with Allen Bestwick being a good little soldier and praising the thrilling football game. Give me a break.

Like I said before, I don't care if they're a lame duck as far as NASCAR coverage is concerned. There's no excuse for that. They have about 80 different channels. Cover the **** properly. **** them.

race-- 6
more crappy mile and a half "racing"
I gained a tiny bit of respect for Kenseth after he chased down the idiot brad........................... a very tiny bit
Brads after race side show---- 9

The fight was awesome. Some good contact, but Kenseth showed a lot of restraint. It's obvious that he was fuming and he easily could have sucker-punched him and broke Brad's jaw or something. Matt obviously is dedicated to safety, even the safety of his opponent in a physical altercation :D

Race: 8
Winner:10
Post Race/fight: 15
ESPN on ABC: 5 (for missing the first 25 laps)

All I saw was that Matt came up behind him and bull dogged him around the neck, Kez didn't have a chance, now the Denny and Kez scuffle looked like both of them faced off, but I couldn't tell what was going on, the crew got all involved. After the race, I didn't see a scratch on anybody, but a bunch of adrenalin quivering coming down afterwards.

Yep. Only Marcos has had enough stones to haul off on somebody lately.

I got to hand it to Denny, it looked like he was ready to throw some punches from what I saw, but he had some really fast crew members that kept getting in the way, but Denny was trying at least.

The race was exciting to me. I thought it was pretty good. Larson always puts on a hell of a show. Like I think @BobbyFord said in the race thread, the only thing keeping him from spanking the field is his lack of experience.

Of course, I listened to a good bit of it on the radio and they made it sound exciting whether that part was or not.

Easy 8
After race shenanigans were pretty radical too.

The race was about a 7 for me. I'm glad Kevin finally got into VL after running so well.
Top 5 for Kyle, 8th for Edwards.

I was glad to see that from Edwards. Him and Newman look to be in good shape to move on. That's cool.

Dammit, I fell asleep at least twice during the race. These nightly races are hard on me. I did see most of it.

From what I saw, I'd give the race an 8.

The fights are the end were exciting. I'd give them an 8 too.

Hamlin and Kez go way back, I was watching this N'wide tussle in 09, pretty funny.

Man, Denny was such an ******* back then. I guess he still is. LOL.

He didn't do anything wrong tonight though, unless he was really in the garage area trading paint with Brad as was rumored.

The fight was pretty lame even by nascar standards, but I was glad to see someone try to give Brad what he had coming.

Was disappointed Denny couldn't get to Brad, but it was probably a good thing he didn't.

Pretty sure Denny would have stomped a mud hole in Brad's ass and walked it dry.

Race: ?/10...I fell asleep due to exhaustion.. so I don't know.. good result for my guy anyway
Winner: -4/10 ...No... just... no

Fight: 9/10! One of the best I've seen yet... would have been better if I had watched the race though lol

9.5

If ya didn't like all of the bumping and banging for position and hardass racing then take up knitting. It was a helluva race especially on raceview.

That was hardly a fight but I wouldn't expect any different from those two. I've seen better tangles over a can of cashews at the supermarket.

I think Hambone may have be ready to start throwing punches.

This year's Espys have one hell of a "BEST ASS-KICKING BY SOMEONE IN YELLOW & BLACK UNIFORM" category going. #nascar

Fight was lame, like pretty much all NASCAR fights over the past several years. But I don't watch racing for fights anyway.

Huh? Looked like Kez kept his helmet on while Hamlin wanted to go.

Move of the night was Paul Wolfe putting Matt in a choke hold and dragging him off his driver. lol Who knew Matt and Paul had it in them?

Funniest comment was Brad saying something like 'I bumped Matt, and he hit Tony. I guess Tony didn't know what happened, so he backed into me'. :XXROFL:

No Brad, I think Tony knew EXACTLY what happened.

Race was a solid 6.8 lots of good driving action when they cared to show it. Kosheslouski came close to the DNF I was hoping for it just didn't work out all the way. Dude is a joke and should be suspended for his actions.

Gluck was there and posted some details.

--Keselowski drove past everyone into the garage and Hamlin followed. Their cars made contact in the garage and were stuck together; Keselowski gassed his car up to get away -- leaving a burnout mark in the garage -- and drove across some equipment laying on the ground to reach his team's hauler.

IMO, 2 big idiots and 1 lesser idiot in all this.
