RATE THE RACE: Bristol Spring Race at Night

I don't see how any race can be perfect when some guy LEANS ONE THE CAUTION BUTTON BY ACCIDENT.

Was still a good race. 8
Any race I enjoy the hell out of in person(with my family to boot), is perfect, or very near perfect for me.

You say 8, I say 10.
For me personally it was a 10. Objectively, you may be a little closer. 8.5-9. I mean, if we really have to point out every flaw.

I had fun and inside my subjective little heart, it felt like a 1000.

How often do we get to see that kind of racing? There was top 10 racing going on all over the track. Lead changes under green, side by side racing, drama in the pits, a car turning into a blow torch, multiple leaders taking turns dominating, 3 wide moves in the turns...and a little controversy. What more could we want?

Hell, I even got the rain delay I was praying for while speeding thru the mountains heading to Bristol. :) 10 all the way.

Absolutely!

A great race but 97.67% is as high as I can go. That represents the 42 of the 43 drivers that really wanted to be driving a sprint cup car, and really were trying.

The mr pepsi commercial driver, his heart is in Hollywood, NYC, and Belguim now. I reckon George Clooney, Tom Hanks, Cruise are his heroes now rather than Petty, Pearson, Foyt, Dale, Mario, and so forth.

I suppose he is wanting an Oscar too, seems like he could try for one by acting like he still wants to be a race car driver, :). Maybe he'd at least win something for a change.

Even as a hostage he might as well make use of his forced time.

He aint winning like when he was sincere, a praying and doing the bible studies :). Even the weather girls know that.

78 virgins? Just go to a Star Trek convention ;)

Remember William Shatner asking the SNL trekkies "have you ever kissed a girl?" and telling them to get a life.

thought that was ya 1st trip ta bristol ? ie--virgin

lol OK, I thought you were trying to say something else and get a flame war going.

Bristol was awesome. Stuff 43 cars on a high banked half mile and seat the fans so they can look down on all the action. What a concept.

I didn't have any neighbors. 20 closest seats were empty. Put the headsets on and took a nap after I arrived during rain delay, then it was all standing and team radio scanning. Lots of radio chatter at that track.
