Rate the Race: Clash at Daytona

No rules, it's completely your call.

After each race, someone (I've forgotten who) will consistently start a 'Rate the Race' discussion. He then takes the averages for each race and posts them throughout the season. He encourages you to rate between 1 and 10 to make the math easier. Anything higher or lower will be rounded up or down.

Thanks for the info and I guess that who wins or who does badly can have a big impact on what the person thought of a race.

I rate it 10/10. Being a diehard Rusty fan, I never liked the drivers they put into the #2 car(was it just Kurt Busch?), but I liked Kez before he joined the #2 team, and I was ecstatic when he got that ride. He's on fire on the restrictor plates and is quickly catching up to you know who.

the only way to fix this plate bs is
to make them race in reverse gear.

5.5. Although my appreciation for plate racing has grown in recent years, it still remains my least favorite form of stock car racing. And I'm not a fan of exhibition races. I'd rather the schedule get shuffled around to create a weekend to race in Mexico City. Nascar, make that happen.

I did enjoy seeing "my driver" get the win. Kez is hard to pass once he gets to the front at Daytona and Talladega. If he wins the 500, my rating will likely be higher, LOL.

5, wouldn't be surprised if there was a new rule that makes it so the cant run single file like that.

There should be a new rule that prohibits racing single finale in the last stage, or maybe for more than 20 laps

Most people hated it, but I really enjoyed it as well. It was always interesting to see who would partner with who.
I really enjoyed watching the drivers swap places, especially when they could pull it off without losing track position. What I liked about it over other forms of plate racing was that allowed a degree of separation in the field, and that pulling away from the pack wasn't a disadvantage.
